Last night was a bit of a disaster as the Celtics played terribly and got mauled. We move on.
Lean for tonight:
Hornets @ Heat.
Heat stomped all over the Hornets in the first game winning 123-91, and Hornets coach Steve Clifford has spoken about this poor result, explaining that big improvements need to be made on their defence. “Heat averaged 1.42 points per possession, more than any team in any NBA game this year”.
These stats are pretty embarrassing for a team with a defence ranked no.9 in the NBA, and no doubt Clifford would have spent this week analysing and addressing the issues.
This doesn’t however mean that I think Hornets win tonight, I don’t. I still prefer the experience of Heat, with home court advantage and a potential Wade vs LeBron Eastern Final is too much of a money spinner to ignore! Far more commercially viable for Miami, and a much bigger incentive for the NBA as a whole.
I think the Heat win, but this could be a bit of a brawl, and a much closer game that could go down to the wire.
For this reason I quite like:

Double stakes on this one tonight for me
No luck from Big Gay Al Horford last night on the board front. I am tempted on the Heat/Clippers ML Double which pays 46/50 @ 365, but you’ll notice other than the Warriors and Spurs games, every other one has been different. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Miami or LA lose tonight. I backed Griffins’ PR&A in game 1 and he has gone up to 32.5 @ Paddys/Betfair, but one market I like the look of is Rebounds & Assists Over 13 @ 17/20 @ Bet Victor. This total was 18 in the first game, and 14 in his other two games against Portland in the regular season.
