IT'S another massive day in the English Premier League with Spurs v Arsenal at lunchtime and Watford v Leicester in the evening the two live games.

In midweek both North London sides slipped up with Arsenal crashing 2-1 at home to Swansea and Spurs shocked 1-0 at West Ham.

The beneficiaries were Leicester who remain three points clear at the top of the Premier League it seems no one wants to win.

West Ham have taken points at home to Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea this season – so Spurs were up against it while Arsenal have been poor in defeats to the Swans and against Man United's kids.

Before the loss at Upton Park Spurs had won six in a row in the league and I'm taking them to get back on track with the return of Dele Alli, Danny Rose and Son Heung-Min who were rested in midweek and seriously dent Arsenal's title challenge.

The Gunners are without Petr Cech and Laurent Koscielny and that's another blow so I'm on Spurs at a best 29-20 with boylesports.

Both teams have scored in 12 of the last 15 North London derbies and while this could be a nervy affair I'm on that at 4-6 with bet365.

Watford are sliding down the table but should be safe but their lack of goals is a concern – just five this year and in five outings the only side they've scored against is Crystal Palace.

After testing home games against Norwich and West Brom it will be a relief for Leicester to get back on the road and they've won more than anyone away – eight times.

They are 6-4 at the likes of William Hill and bet365 to win tonight's live TV clash and I'm having some of that.

Man City – League Cup Final apart – have been poor and were ripped apart at Liverpool on Wednesday. They are now in danger of missing out on a Champions League spot – and that won't be good news for incoming boss Pep Guardiola.

After three successive league losses City should bounce back against doomed Aston Villa. In fact it should be a rout. Villa have conceded 11 goals in three games and 23 on their last six visits to the Etihad.

City are no bigger than 1-5 so take them -1 on accumulators at 6-10 with Coral. Sergio Aguero could fill his boots but is just 1-2 at bet365 to score at any time.

Stats suggest City will score at least four and that pays 12-5 at Ladbrokes while over 2.5 team goals is safer at 10-11 with the same firm.

Chelsea should continue their good run by seeing off Stoke and Swansea can build on their defeat at Arsenal and decent show at Spurs by beating Norwich at home.

I'll be at Newcastle-Bournemouth for a rare taste of English football and it's a tough one to call although Newcastle are tough to beat at home despite their struggles. I saw an Opta stat that said Georginio Wijnaldum hasn't scored for five games but each time he does that he nets in the sixth so I'm having a go at the Dutchman to score first at 8-1 with the likes of Ladbrokes and bet365. That will pay for the beers.

In the lower leagues I like Burnley to beat Blackburn in the Lancashire derby and Wigan can add to Peterborough's woes with a home win at just under evens.
