Man Utd v Man City is usually a fiercely-fought derby but the Community Shield meeting at Wembley might not be much more than an exhibition.
The traditional curtain-raiser to the Premier League season is staged at Wembley on Sunday and both Lancashire bosses admit it's all about fine-tuning ahead of next weekend.
United will be without star striker Javier Hernandez while City will be minus Carlos Tevez although new hitman Sergio Aguero is likely to be on the bench.
