IN England today the focus is on League One and League Two and there's a fascinating clash at York where Jackie McNamara makes his home dugout debut against Plymouth's Derek Adams.

Plymouth have been knocked out of two cups at home in the past week but Adams played weakened teams suggesting promotion is his one and only priority.

McNamara's men also lost in the FA Cup at Accrington and while there was no disgrace in that a match against one of the promotion favourites could have come too soon. The one concern for Adams is the absence of top scorer Reuben Reid but York have problems too so I'm on the away at 6-5 with William Hill and Betfred.

Elsewhere in League Two on-form Oxford should win the university challenge against Cambridge and it could be one game too much for Paul Sturrock's Yeovil.

His injury-hit squad won in the FA Cup with nine men and on penalties after extra time in the JP Trophy in midweek. They could be at breaking point for their third match in seven days and Teddy Sheringham's Stevenage, who thumped League One Gillingham in the FA Cup, could take advantage. They're 6-4 at Betfred.

Carlisle are one of my Super Singles but are definitely a long shot at 10-3 with Betfred. They travel to a Bristol Rovers side with one of the worst home records in the division and are without Tom Lockyer and Ellis Harrison who are both away with the Wales-Under 21 squad so Tom Parkes and Jermaine Easter are set to deputise. Last weekend Carlisle won 2-0 at Plymouth in the FA Cup and a win today should see them climb into the play-off spots.

In League One Sheffield United should take care of Southend as again the league is their top target and the same goes for Gary Caldwell's Wigan. He rested players for last weekend's 4-0 FA Cup loss to Bury but he'll back to almost full strength for the visit to Rochdale.

Peterborough have been scoring and conceding since Graham Westley took charge and should be too strong for Steven Pressley's Fleetwood who have suffered three defeats in four. Pressley though has signed attackers David Henen and Tariqe Fosu on loan from Everton and Reading and stats suggest the game has goals.

In the early game Wigan (8-5, Betfred) can win at a Rochdale side missing four or five.  Wigan boss Gary Caldwell has brought in Alex Revell on loan from Cardiff but misses Will Grigg who is away on international duty.

Seamus, there have been some problems today. Spoke to admin and it’as traffic related.
After a fairly quiet week for football this is obviously our busiest day since new site was launched.
Our resource is being tested to the limit despite it being doubled so it’s being addressed.
