THERE are three games in the Premier League today and the easiest to predict is Aston Villa v Man City.

It should be a baptism of fire for new Villa boss Remi Garde who watched his side crash 3-1 at Spurs on Monday.

This is as tough a start as it gets and while City remain without Sergio Aguero they are solid favourites at 4-9 with the likes of Coral and William Hill.

It's short but I'd be happy enough to put City on an accumulator as they have won five of their six games without Aguero and were impressive in winning away to Sevilla in the Champions League in midweek.

Wilfried Bony, Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling have all chipped in with the goals in the Argentine's absence while skipper and penalty taker Yaya Toure remains a threat and is 11-5 at 888sport to score.

City should win by at least two (5-4, Skybet) and they are 8-15 at boylesports to score 2+. Should be manageable against a side that's conceded 13 in six – new boss or not.

The big one sees Arsenal entertain Spurs and I have to fear for the Gunners after their 5-1 battering by Bayern Munich in midweek. Not may sides can live with the Germans at their best but Arsene Wenger's side were embarrasses for long spells and will have to pick themselves up without the likes of Theo Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and now Hector Bellerin.

Spurs' only league loss came at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season and Mauricio Pochettino has no major injury concerns.

Arsenal look too short for me at 8-11 with Ladbrokes and others and I expect Spurs to avoid defeat (23-18, 888sport). Spurs beat Anderlecht in midweek in the Europa League with Harry Kane on target. The England man has run into some decent form after a slow start to the season and has netted five in three including a hat-trick against Bournemouth.

Kane is 7-1 at bet365 to score first and I'll be on him at 21-10 with Ladbrokes to net at any time.

Liverpool have followed three draws under Klopp with three wins and he'll not be wanting three defeats next. It shouldn't happen and I expect the Reds to edge out Palace at Anfield.

Klopp has an extensive injury list that of course includes Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge but Klopp has found a way to win and the only thing I don't like is a best price of 4-6 at the likes of Coral.

The Reds haven't been conceding many but both sides have netted in their last six meetings so let's go with the stats and back both to score at 19-10 with William Hill. Phillipe Coutinho has been impressive recently and I like the Brazilian at 9-4 with bet365 to net at any time.

There are also 10 FA Cup first-round ties and I want to check out as much team news as possible before putting up tips. Exeter face the lowest-ranked survivors Didcot in the early lunchtime game live and will be trying to avoid another shock after losing to Warrington last season.

Maybe the memory of that loss will prevent Paul Tidsdale's men suffering another nightmare and they are 2-5 to win.

On-form Newport look decent at evens with William Hill at Brackley with boss John Sheridan set to name an unchanged side. Newport's on-loan trio Tommy O'Sullivan and Jazzi Barnum-Bobb (both Cardiff) and Janoi Donacien (Aston Villa) can play.

If there's going to be shock it could come from National League South side Maidstone who entertain League Two strugglers Yeovil who have an injury crisis.

Maidstone knocked out Stevenage 2-1 in a replay at this stage last season and Yeovil have lost four of their last five FA Cup meetings to non-league sides.

Maidenhead lie 60 places behind Port Vale in the ladder but may fancy their chances. Boss Alan Devonshire has lifted his side to third in National League South side after six wins in a row and 16 goals.

Is that Coutinio price a misprint, Mr F?

I’m seeing 9/4, and I cant believe it’s shortened that much.
