IN the English Premiership all eyes will be on Man City to see if they can continue their excellent start to the season.
Manuel Pellegrini’s men are the only side to win their first three games – all to nil – and all by at least two goals.
It should be more of the same at home to new boys Watford today. City minus one pays 4-7 with Skybet and I like Sergio Aguero at 11-4 with Betfred and William Hill to score first.
Chelsea and Liverpool are also in action at 3pm and should win. Pedro’s signing lifted Jose Mourinho’s men last week and the Blues are backable on accas at 4-11 with Ladbrokes.
Diego Costa looked a new man with Pedro’s arrival and I’m on the Spain star to score first at 7-2 with Paddy Power.
Liverpool dropped their first points at Arsenal on Monday – and it was a good draw – and should get back to winning ways when West Ham visit.
The Hammers defended worse than Celtic in Sweden as they conceded four against Bournemouth last week. Liverpool are 2-5 at Betfred and while they are not prolific scorers they should manage over 1.5 goals at 4-9 with Betfred against a side handing out gifts.
For goals go to Bournemouth v Leicester – two sides who love to attack and give their own keepers heart murmurs. Sunderland somehow conceded three at home to Exeter in the League Cup and I expect them to lose at Aston Villa at a best 10-11 with Betfred.
Best bets from the lower league are Walsall and Plymouth. Walsall travel to a Blackpool side who have lost eight of their last nine games and haven’t notched a win any competition since January 31.
Championship relegation has been followed by a League One struggle and they sit bottom with one point. It’s unlikely to get any better today with a visit from joint leaders Walsall who have won three and drawn one and knocked Nottingham Forest and Brighton out of the League Cup.
Walsall boast one of the division’s best strikers in Tom Bradshaw who has netted five in five games. The price on the away is decent at 10-11 with Coral and I fancy them to cover the minus one handicap at 12-5 with Coral.
Back Bradshaw to score at 6-4 with SKybet and to score first at 4-1 with William Hill.
I was pleased to see Plymouth are Greg's nap at home to Plymouth so check out his write-up.
Plymouth at home to Plymouth?
Plymouth on the double chance for me
Banker
Aaron Pierre has scored in both of Wycombe’s last two games. Got a few at the end of last season as well. Much of Wycombe’s strategy is through set pieces. Our other centre back, Alfie Mawson, got 7 last season.
I was on Pierre to score anytime last week at 12-1. He’s still 10-1 this week with Paddy Power, which is great value.
Makes me wonder if anyone else knows someone from their club (probably a defender or setpiece taker) who is regularly overpriced for anytime scorer?
Good To See F.G S in your
