CELTIC can warm to their Champions League challenge by melting the limited Icemen of Stjarnan.
Scottish clubs are traditionally slow starters in Europe but Ronny Deila's men should reap the benefit of a sensible pre-season fixture list by hitting the ground running.
The Hoops have travelled no further than Paisley in their pursuit of Champions League glory although results have been mixed.
Den Bosch and Real Sociedad were beaten to nil but Dukla Prague ran out 5-3 winners. Deila needs his defence to be tight but his backline is unlikely to be tested even if the Icelanders shocked Motherwell and Lech Poznan in last season's Europa League.
They clinched the title on the last day of the season but haven't kicked on and lie sixth with three defeats in their last matches.
Celtic beat KR Reykjavik 4-0 at Murrayfield a year ago and should be looking at a similar scoreline.
Just to win the Scots are no bigger than 1-12 at McBookie and 8-13 minus two. They could cover the minus three handicap at 7-5 with Paddy Power.
While Nadir Ciftci's signing from Dundee United gives Deila options up front the man banging them in pre-season has been Gary Mackay-Steven with strikes against Den Bosch, Dukla and Sociedad. He is 13-10 with bet365 to net and 6-1 to score first.

Hi Paul just wanted to say I noticed there is never tips for games out side Europe club wise and recommend the Brazilian league and Japanese
I’m having a lot of joy with unawa red diamonds of Japan and athletico maniro of Brazil.
Red diamonds are undefeated in the league so far and are playing away today.
Athleico maniero are flying at the mo,eat and last season won me a lot from there home form. They were a it shaky away but there home form was great
Callum g, there are plenty of tips on games outside Europe but not generally from me. I don’t have the time to follow all leagues and all countries so will concentrate on what I know.
IM taking a punt on Lustig to score first and anytime tonight.
At the pre season friendlies in Paisley there was a definite attempt to connect with him on set pieces so I am hoping the tacticians have set that up as a potential goal outlet for tonights match.
You’re bang on about Mackay-Steven though. He looks sharp and I will be having a wee punt on him to finish as top scorer in the league this season (e/w of course).
Celtic 5 – 0 Stjarnan
guys any suggestions, good sites were you can stream the match

thanks McLeish
No worries!
CELTIC Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Mulgrew, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Mackay-Steven, Johansen, Armstrong; Ciftci
SUBS Ambrose, Griffiths, Stokes, Rogic, Bailly, Forrest, Fisher
Is that a strong side ?
rensen, it’s full strength as expected. Celtic can’t afford to mess about. Deila hinted Ciftci would start but it’s a slight surprise the way Griffiths finished the season.
Think CFC will win comfortably Mr F and the minus 3.0-3.5 on Asian HC is decent price. Wait for line-ups but 100% Gary Mak be on and give us a goal.
I’m on it!
Also like Van Dijk or Johansen anytime too. GL
What will happen if Gary Mak doesn’t come on, will the bet void?
Imp95, of course it will.
Celtic missed penalty :(
mr f, hopefully we dont see him pop on for 60 seconds in the 90th minute then!
