THERE’S only a few weeks to go in the Scottish Football Leagues – and a few more chances to beat the bookies.

So let’s see if we can end the season on a high and our lower-league man Joe Wallace has been on the case in the hunt for a winning treble.

We kick off in the Irn-Bru First Division and focus on Dunfermline’s home clash with Queen of the South.

The Pars go into this match a point ahead of second-placed Raith Rovers and with only four games remaining the title and a place in the SPL is theirs for the taking.

They go into this one on a high after taking pole position from the Kirkcaldy men and face up to a Palmerston outfit they are 16 points ahead of in the table.

The Pars are also unbeaten in their last six while Kenny Brannigan’s men have lost three of their last six.

Jim McIntyre’s men won the last clash between the sides 1-0 and are unbeaten in the last three encounters between the clubs.

That’s why I am taking them as my first pick in my SFL treble at 8-13 with Ladbrokes and Paddy Power among others.

Moving on to the Second Division and we concentrate on Airdrie’s home clash with Dumbarton.

After a disappointing season Airdrie finally found their form, winning four games on the bounce.

They slipped up last weekend as they lost 1-0 to Alloa but the main reason for that was they were reduced to 10 men only a minute into the second half.

This weekend they can get back to winning ways against a Dumbarton side they are six points ahead of in the table and who have triumphed just once in their last four. So take Airdrie at 10-11 (bet365 and William Hill).

We finish up in the Irn-Bru Third Division and Stranraer’s trip to face Montrose.

After surrendering pole position in the table the Blues find themselves in fourth spot and must hang on in there if they are to earn a place in the end-of-season play-offs.

After a disappointing run of six games without a victory Keith Knox’s men got their season back on track by winning their last two.

They face up to a Montrose side they are 22 points ahead of in the table so go for an away win at 10-11 (widely available).
