CHELSEA'S draw against Burnley summed a day of shock results in England. Man United's loss to Swansea wasn't a huge surprise the way the Red Devils have been playing though.
Down the leagues we saw the likes of Middlesbrough, Reading, Bournemouth, Bristol City and Swindon all lose.
Hopefully Sunday will be a better day and here's the Premier League team news – and it's just as important as tips in my opinion.
Everton v Leicester
Leighton Baines is expected to return to the Everton team after missing three games with a minor knee problem. He will come in at left-back for Bryan Oviedo who felt his hamstring in the Europa League win over Young Boys. Midfielder Gareth Barry is suspended but Aaron Lennon, who was cup-tied in Switzerland, returns.
On-loan centre-back Robert Huth returns to the Leicester squad after being cup-tied for last weekend's FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa. Striker Chris Wood and goalkeeper Kaspar Schmeichel remain sidelined, although both are back in training and close to a return.
Southampton v Liverpool
Morgan Schneiderlin and Shane Long are available for Southampton having returned to training on Friday after an adductor injury and fractured ribs respectively. Matt Targett is back in contention after a head injury, although Toby Alderweireld, Jay Rodriguez, Emmanuel Mayuka and Ryan Bertrand are out.
Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling is pushing for a start after his successful return from a foot injury in midweek. Captain Steven Gerrard misses out again with a hamstring injury.
Last season: Southampton 0 Liverpool 3, Liverpool 0 Southampton 1
Spurs v West Ham
Harry Kane is expected to return to Tottenham's starting line-up. Kane was rested along with Ryan Mason and Mousa Dembele for the Europa League draw with Fiorentina in the Europa League.
West Ham will welcome both Winston Reid and James Collins back following hamstring problems. Cheikhou Kouyate is also available despite suffering a minor arm injury earlier in the week. Morgan Amalfitano is suspended and Nene, who was signed earlier in the week, is not yet match fit.
Last season: West Ham 2 Spurs 0; Spurs, 0 West Ham 3.
Really am fancying lukaku 2 or more goals tomoz and Harry Kane 2 or more goals… Gonna do both singles and a double… Think Liverpool will be more than happy with a draw tomorow at Southampton… That’s if they can get 1 that is at st Mary’s… not any easy place to go… But draw seems the value bet to me…
Waiting on Caen for a 6 timer which was mrfixits 2 trebles wats best way to cover they r 1 up cheers guys
Peteb, the full cover is simply Lille double chance. Alternatively back draw and hope Lille don’t turn it round. I’m leaving it a bit longer – if Caen score again cover will be cheap.
Thanks mrf u the man
Are you on dost to continue with his scoring boots mr f… Wat u think on adding him to the other two selections I’ve put up… Maybe in a Trixie… Does that mean that if 2 of them manage and one lets you down you still get the double??
3 draws PL games is worth a fiver at 48/1 given the recent trend of sunday games! Yawn.
Super pickin mr f with us english and euro treble had them done and also the 6 timer done well chuffed keep up the good workn
What’s going on in the Caen game? Players taken off the field back underway now, just want the game over to win bet.
Teams often struggle after Europa so cautious betting for Sunday advised!
If you think all 3 Europa teams will struggle there is this:
West Ham DC
Leicester DC
Southampton DC
Treble is 4.73/1 on bet365.
The same three teams mentioned above as a DNB treble instead of DC is 18.26/1
Everton will beat Leicester tomorrow, in fact double them up with Arsenal to beat Monaco on Wed, sorry for lack of reasoning, puts me off giving tips on ere coz can’t put what im thinkin mentally into writing and enuf peeps blowin smoke up their own ass on ere 24/7 etc…
Kev_Tranmere, just back. Can’t agree more about Everton – if they play like they did on Thursday.
Cover available on the draw treble now! I am letting it ride.
Hi andyc.that was my thinking behind the draw treble!
