LIVERPOOL were the big winners when the FA Cup quarter-final draw was made and are now 2-1 favourites with firms such as bet365 and BetVictor to win the trophy.
Brendan Rodgers' side were handed the home tie they wanted and are expected to see off Championship outfit Blackburn. The Reds are desperate to give Steven Gerrard a Wembley send-off and are on the right track.
Man United's win at Preston set up the tie of the round at home to holders Arsenal and it's Louis van Gaal's men who are second in the betting at 11-4 with Coral followed by the Gunners at 10-3 with Ladbrokes and BetVictor.
West Midlands rivals Aston Villa and West Brom will meet at Villa Park and giantkiller Bradford are at home to Reading in the other tie and you have to fancy the League One men after knocking out Chelsea and Sunderland.
Villa are 14-1 at BetVictor, WBA 14-1 at Ladbrokes, Bradford and Reading 33-1 at bet365 and Blackburn the 66-1 outsiders at Coral.
FA Cup quarter-final draw
Aston Villa v West Brom
Bradford City v Reading
Liverpool v Blackburn
Manchester United v Arsenal
Ties to be played on the weekend of March 7,8
Blackburn EW at 1/2 the price for a shock at Anfield and Villa v West Brom in semis could be worth a wee dabble. I’ve got a fiver on Man utd FA Cup, Germany Euro 16 and Inter EL after they got Podolski and Shaqiri in January but Podolski not even in squad, gonna lose a fiver at the 1st hurdle tho :)
£1800 getting back if it does come in, Inter no chance of getting CL next season in league
Would like to see a Liverpool/Utd final but I think Arsenal are a better settled team than Utd at this time and will progress.
I wonder who Bradford will get in the Semi’s? :)
Was hoping they would be around 2/1 to see off Reading but 17/10 ain’t too bad.
Chelsea 3/1 to beat PSG at Paddypower
