VALENCIA are a team transformed this season under billionaire new owner Peter Lim and forward-thinking young boss Nuno.

Los Che aren't going to win La Liga but they're at least giving the big three a run for their money so far and currently sit fourth, just five points behind leaders Real Madrid. Today Nuno's men are too good to ignore when they visit a side on the slide.

Struggling Celta Vigo's last league win came on November 1 – ironically against the mighty Barcelona – and they've lost their last six on the bounce, failing to scoring a single goal in their last seven.

Today they're missing suspended pair Carlos Planas and David Costas, as well as the crocked Borja Oubina, and manager Eduardo Berizzo has revealed he plans to change formation and adopt a more attacking mindset.

But that can play right into the hands of Valencia who are lethal on the counter-attack and are available at 17-10 for the win. Valencia's away league record reads four wins, two draws and two defeats and a safer option is Valencia draw no bet at 5-6.

Real Madrid are a wounded animal after ending their 22-match winning streak with two successive defeats and should come out firing today against 10th-placed Espanyol. Real are 2-5 to score in both halves and 3-4 to win both halves.

Complete the treble with Porto to score at least two goals at home (3-10) to a Belenenses side who shipped seven at Braga in the Portuguese Cup in midweek and are winless in their last five league games.

Back to La Liga, I also fancy both to score in the battle of seventh v sixth, Malaga v Villarreal. Four of Malaga's last six at home in the league  have seen both teams score, the same ratio of Villarreal's last six away. Five of the last six meetings between these teams has been BTTS and a repeat today pays 10-11.

Top treble (3.05-1, Betfair)

Valencia draw no bet, Real Madrid to win both halves, Porto to score 2+

Recommended bet (10-11, various)

Malaga v Villarreal both to score
