A COUPLE of weeks ago bookies looked ready to pay out on Chelsea to win the title – but five wins a row have cast doubts over Jose Mourinho's side's ability to stay at the summit.
Just when his men were looking invincible they lost at Newcastle and that's given sides such as City a bit of hope going into the hectic festive season.
Chelsea travel to Stoke on Monday night trying to put some daylight between themselves and City. There's no getting away from the fact this will be a test for Mourinho's men who will need to be in the right frame of mind for a battle on what's forecast to be a miserable night.
The Blues have lost just one of 12 Premier League encounters with Stoke – so they cope better than the opposition than the likes of Arsenal – although they went down there 3-2 defeat last season.
Mark Hughes's men rumbled up Arsenal once again a few weeks ago – leading 3-0 before hanging on to a 3-2 win – but they're unlikely to bully Chelsea into submission.
Chelsea should pick up the points but are no bigger than 13-20 at McBookie so best bet for me is Diego Costa to score at any time at 1-1 with boylesports.
The Spanish international wouldn't look out of place in the Stoke side as he plays in a no-holds barred style. The likes of centre-half Ryan Shawcross won't roll him over and Costa is worth a look at 7-2 with McBookie to score first.

Chy you need to put on the free bet before it is refunded so all your calcs are missing the £50 in play bet that is put on i.e. the total outlay for the Chelsea win is £50 (original bet) + £10 on Stoke + £50 in play = £110.
The inplay bet is a free bet. 365 will give it when you place the pre-match bet and it will be refunded if it loses

On 365 with this free bet I was going to bet on cards, £50 stake returns £91.
My thinking is bet on cards before 31 mins and with the free in play bet on card after 31 mins.

If you’re backing a red card in the Chelsea match why not have a side bet on red card to be issued in the first half. The price is huge @ 13/1 with Paddy Power. Boylesports offer 13/2 and Stan James 10/1 so 13/1 is decent.

the easiest way for decent guaranteed profit is to go 50 on chelsea prematch and then 50 on double chance stoke and draw in play as soon as it kicks off. at current odds this would guarantee 28 quid if chelsea win and 20 quid if they dont. personally i prefer harpreets way because i think a draw is likely.

Pre match bet put £50 on Chelsea to win.
In play bet back double chance with a Stoke/Draw and either way you will make a couple of quid
£50 on over 0.5 goals then £50 inplay on the draw of it’s a score draw big money return. Craig Alves taught me that and it paid off yesterday why win small when it’s risk free I’d prefer to go with the chance to win big like yesterday.
Nevermind guaranteeing pennies in profit. This is a £50 risk free bet, take a chance and try and win decent profit. Its hardly worth depositing 100 quid and waiting on it going in the bank for a tenner profit.
