THERE is a full card of Premier League matches on Tuesday and Wednesday and it's a tricky-looking set of fixtures.

Out of the 12 teams in action on Tuesday only two are odds on – Man Utd at home to Stoke and Swansea at home to QPR.

They should both win with the double paying 6-4 at McBookie and BetVictor. The only other side close to evens are Liverpool who are 11-10 at McBookie and BetVictor and it shows how far the Reds have fallen to be priced up that big against a side who have taken just two points from their last 24.

I backed Liverpool to sink Stoke on Saturday and they left it late but this is a game they must win if they're to be serious about a challenge for the top four.

Skipper Steve Gerrard was rested for the Stoke game and if he's back take him at 17-5 with 888sport to score.
Add Liverpool to Man Utd and Swansea and you have a treble that pays 9-2 at McBookie and BetVictor but of the three the Anfield men are the biggest concern and I wonder if bookies are dangling an 11-10 carrot.

Man Utd will feature on the bulk of accas. Louis van Gaal's side are aiming for four league wins on the bounce against a Stoke who have lost their last 11 at Old Trafford. United are 4-9 (various) and on-form Wayne Rooney is 6-5 at Coral to score.

Another striker in cracking form is Wilfried Bony and he's 4-1 with McBookie and BetVictor to break the deadlock. Swansea are 3-4 with McBookie to beat a QPR side who have lost all six away, scoring two goals.

So what of the rest? West Ham tempt at 6-4 with William Hill at a West Brom side who are beginning to struggle after a promising start under Alan Irvine. The Hammers are in good nick under Big Sam and Andy Carroll's back to add a bit of menace to their attack.

I can see West Ham winning but may play safer with West Ham draw no bet at 6-5 with McBookie and BetVictor.

Newcastle are a best 17-10 with McBookie and BetVictor and it looks quite big even though Burnley's results have improved of late. Alan Pardew's men won five in a row before losing at West Ham on Saturday but should get back on track.

I may be in danger of picking up a few splinters but again I'm looking at Newcastle draw no bet at 20-23 with McBookie and BetVictor.

The final game sees Crystal Palace entertain Aston Villa. I'd favour Palace but Villa have drawn their last two after six losses in a row and have Christian Benteke back from a ban.

Palace have been impressive at home, beating Liverpool 3-1, and are 21-20 with most bookies but there are enough doubts for me to leave this one alone.

There are two games in League One with Sheffield United entertaining on-form MK Dons and Barnsley taking on Doncaster as well as a full card in the Conference Premier.

MK Dons blitzed Colchester 6-0 at the weekend and are unbeaten in eight. They shouldn't be underdogs at 2-1 with William Hill and while I believe they'll win the one worry is boss Karl Robinson's rotation policy.

He hasn't named the same line-up twice in a row and is expected to ring the changes again while Blades boss Nigel Clough has on-loan striker Chris O'Grady in contention for a start and Michael Higdon and Marc McNulty fit again.

Doncaster have an impressive away record with five wins as opposed to just one at home. Barnsley have lost two in a row and have doubts over Peter Ramage and Ryan Williams while striker Sam Winnall is out.

Donny look worth backing at a best 21-10 with William Hill but a safer bet could be over 2.5 goals. Barnsley's last 10 at home have been over 2.5 goals as have nine of Doncaster's previous 10 on the road.

I also believe there’s good value in Liverpool and villa and 12-11 3-1 purely because of the teams they are playing they have to take there chances both of them need wins

Wrexham have won 10 out of 11 games in the league at home against Bristol Rovers since 1994 and drew one in 1995 1-1. Nice to know!!! 13/8 will hill

Wrexham have a big cup tie on Saturday and are patchy at home anyhow.
Bristol rovers are 3rd, but away form w3 d5 l3 suggests a 1-1 here for me

Been enjoying a bit of luck with the match result and over 2.5 goals coupon in shops and online. Couple picks for tomorrow which I fancy.
    Swansea and over 2.5 @13/8
Leicester and over 2.5 @9/2 (risky, but I think a big performance will be put in after their tough loss at the weekend)
West Ham and over 2.5 @4/1
    Treble pays £360 for a £5 stake.

    Good luck to all.

Really tempted to back mk dons for my single tommorow 17/10. Unbeaten in 8 and I just seen the highlights of there 6-0 win against Colchester on Saturday, they looked great going forward and the quality of their goals were brilliant. Sheff u are quite hit and miss so I’m thinking dons look a decent bet

Do u have a staking method mr. F. Iv been watching this page for a while, do u lump on the super single so that as long as it comes in and all the others loose ur still up? Cheers and great service

    • Avatar of Mr Fixit
      Mr Fixit 10 years ago

Roryc, mentioned it loads of times but I never lump on. Staking plan is 5pts on Super Single, 2.5pts on Top Treble or Daily Double and 2.5pts spread on other bets. If the SS wins at evens and all other bets lose I break even.

    West Brom v West Ham

I’m playing the statistics and the statistical probabilities in this match.

First a look at the home side, West Brom.

I believe we are getting this favorable line because of two factors. First, that they have played under the total in 4 straight matches and secondly they have failed to score in 3 of those 4. However those 3 games were against Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle.

Prior to their string of 4 unders they rolled off 4 straight overs that saw 4 combined goals 3 times and 3 goals in the other.

Bettors have Short memories and surely they are focused on the aforementioned information.

In their 7 home matches this season they have gone 4-3 over 2.5 goals allowing at least 2 goals 5 times.

Their home games are averaging 3.00 goals per game. They have one clean sheet (4-0 win v Burnley) and have failed to score 3 times, (v Arsenal, Newcastle and Everton)

A look at the visitors West Ham reveals similar numbers that point to a high scoring game. For starters, dating back to last season they are 9-2 over 2.5 away from home. This season, they are 6-0 over 2.5 in their 6 home matches (9-4 over 2.5 in their 13 games played this season so playing them over is key IMO in light of the fact the under has cashed in 4 of their 7 st home. So we catch West Brom in their best over spot, away!

In those 6 away games they have allowed at least 2 goals on 4 occasions and have zero clean sheets. West Ham should find chances to finally get back in the score sheet in this game. Not only is the over 6-0 in their 6 road games this season but 4 of them have seen 4 or more goals including a 2-2 draw at Stoke, a 3-1 win at Palace, a 3-1 win at Burnley and a 2-2 draw at Hill, all teams that are similar in quality than West Brom. West Ham road games are averaging 3.66 goals.

It can’t be easy for West Ham knight of the fact that in their home game fans were chanting for the dismissal of their manager. This game will show if the players have tuned him out or will rally for him, both scenarios making for a situation that could lead to goals. Also, they sit just two points above.the relegation zone and desperately need a win which should see them press for the win which should leave the Hammers with plenty scoring chances of their own.

What Ham attempts an average of 12 shots per game at home while the Hammers average 15.5 shots per game away with a 12% conversion rate of 2 gpg. The Hammers are allowing 13.3 shots against (average) away and WBA are allowing 11 at home.

West Ham have the 3rd best road attack in the eagle with 12 goals scored behind only Chelsea and Man City. West Brom have the leagues worst home defense.

My top bet of the day is over 2.5 @2.13
Regular stake bet: West Ham @3.14

    (Both at Pinnacle)
