Aberdeen head to Dingwall to face Ross County on Saturday determined to build upon what was certainly one of their best performances of the season last week.
The Dons blew in-form Motherwell away wth a fine display of attacking football and could have won by more than 4-1.
Aberdeen are still too inconsistent to make their fans believe they have returned to the halcyon days at the start of the season where they won their first 13 games, but they are certainly heading in the right direction.
A large part of that has been the superb form of Kevin Nisbet, who is probably playing the best football of his career. The pity for Aberdeen is that he is due to return to Millwall in the summer after his loan spell.
They face a Staggies side who have slighly gone off the boil after an excellent spell when they lost just twice in 11 games and they were to both halves of the Old Firm.
County seem to have a problem scoring goals having lost their last two games and netted just once in their last four games.
They went down to a Dundee United side who had been struggling last week.
How the bookies view it: Dons backed for another win
Aberdeen are solid favourites here at 6/5 with Boylesports with County 2/1 outsiders on their own patch. The draw is 21/10 all with the same firm.
Recent head to heads: Away sides on top
Both teams have achieved an away win each this season with the Dons netting an injury time winner in August and Ross County winning at Pittodrie in January.
Aberdeen are unbeaten in their last seven trips to Dingwall.
Players to watch: Nisbet's the bet
Jordan White went through a great spell at the turn of the year where he netted four goals in six games but he hasn't netted since January and is due one now. He is 3/1 to score anytime with Boylesports.
As stated, Kevin Nisbet is in terrific form for the Dons just now and the Scotland striker bagged a double against Motherwell to take his tally to a dozen for the season with seven in his last eight games. He looks a solid shout at 15/8 with Boylesports to score another goal at Victoria Park.
Predicted line-ups
County will be without Ryan Leak and Will Nightingale.
Aberdeen are missing injured keeper Dimitar Mitov along with Jamie McGrath, Vicente Besuijen and Kristers Tobers.
Ross County: Amissah, Tomkinson, Lopata, Campbell, Wright, Randall, Nisbet, Harmon, Chilvers, White, Samuel.
Aberdeen: Doohan, Jensen, Dorrington, Knoester, Shinnie, Clarkson, Palaversa, Okkels, Keskinen, Nisbet, Dabbagh.
Anything else catch the eye?
The momentum appears to be with the Dons here and they can edge a win against a team who are never easy to beat, especially at home.
Manager Jimmy Thelin has plenty of options off the bench too and if they can show some consistency – and that's the one worry here – they should have too much for their hosts.
Aberdeen winning more corners than the opposition has been a constant happy theme here and their reliance on wingers do tend to lead to flag kicks.
In four of their last five league matches they have won a minimum of three more corners than their opponents and often by plenty more.
So to get them at 5/6 with Coral just to win more corners looks a really great shout.
