PAUL McGINLEY has kept faith with Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson for day two of the Ryder Cup after the pair impressively earned two points as Europe battled to a 5-3 lead over the USA.

And I'd be crazy to give them a miss after picking them not once but twice for Super Singles on Friday.

Rose and Stenson get us started against Bubba Watson and Matt Kuchar and it's difficult to see past them at 10-11 with Stan James. Watson had a nightmare with Webb Simpson on Friday and while Matt Kuchar is a steady player this should be a win for Europe.

Rory McIlroy will play with Ian Poulter against Jimmy Walker and Rickie Fowler and that's tough to call. McIlroy looked like suffering two defeats on day one until he and Sergio Garcia birdied the final three holes to claim a half against the same duo of Fowler and Walker.

Europe are 1-1 with Paddy Power and bet365 but the Americans will have backers at 7-4 with Betfred although world No.1 McIlroy can't play as badly as he did on day one

Jamie Donaldson and Lee Westwood are kept together for a tough clash against Jim Furyk and Hunter Mahan. The home pairing are 5-4 and I'd just about side with them as Mahan looks the weak link here.

And final Thomas Bjorn and Martin Kaymer meet Patrick Reed and Jordan Spieth, the rookie Americans who were sensational as they beat Poulter and Stephen Gallacher 5 and 4 on Friday morning. The biggest surprise was they were rested by Tom Watson in an afternoon the US picked up just half a point.

The fearless kids, the youngest partnership in Ryder Cup history, will be raring to go and look a decent bet at 13-10 with Paddy Power and bet365.

I tipped Europe at the start of the tournament and they are in to 4-9 at Coral to win the match. USA are out to 3-1 at Paddy Power with the draw 11-1 at Paddy Power.

Decided not to follow your bet on Rose/Stenson yesterday. Though I’d have a punt on them today but seems I chose the wrong day to back them.

Jazza_Bairn, just back in – Rose looking great again. If he’s back in the afternoon take him with whoever as the second golf Super Single as long as him and Stenson hang on to this lead.

CAPTAIN JACK, missed the start but have done an inplay double on the McDowell and McIlroy pairings. Rose looks tired but that was to be expected I suppose.

are we going for Rose to win again, even though he’s now partnered by Kaymer?

mitchymitch, just back in so missed the start of the afternoon games. With my Super Single and NB winning this morning I advised backing Rose again but wouldn’t have done if I’d known he was with Kaymer and against Spieth and Reed. I’d have taken Europe to win the bottom two matches and have backed them both in play although the double paid just under evens – Dubuisson/McDowell and McIlroy/Garcia.
