LADBROKES say two customers backed Leicester to beat Man United 5-3 on a day of shocks in the English Premier League.
The scoreline paid 500-1 and it was worth £1 to two lucky and extremely optimistic punters while Leicester were matched at 299-1 on the Ladbrokes betting exchange when trailing United 3-1.
Leicester's win along with further victories for underdogs West Brom and Crystal Palace and a draw at the Etihad meant an accumulator on the four results paid a whopping 517-1.
Frank Lampard brought the curtain down on one of the most remarkable Premier League days in recent times with a goal against his former club, offered at 25-1 in running and 14-1 (last goal) before the match.
Despite conceding late on in the game Chelsea's title odds have been clipped to 8-13 from 7-10 while City drift to 3-1 from 11-4 at Ladbrokes.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “This is a Super Sunday we won't forget in a hurry. Leicester got the ball rolling with an incredible victory which will have delighted their small band of in-play and pre-match backers.
“The results were hard enough to call but plenty of punters had read the script as soon as they saw Lampard warming up. We gave a bit back when he scored late on but that has barely taken the shine off an excellent set of results.”
