THE Six Nations this weekend is all about England v Scotland on Sunday but there are two Saturday clashes.

France are hoping to notch up a big win in the 2.30pm kick-off against Italy while Ireland can edge out Wales in the 5pm start in Cardiff.

William Hill report that punters can't decide between Wales or Ireland with Wales attracting 52 per cent of bets and Ireland 48 per cent.

It's that close to call so maybe instead of picking a winner take it at 13-8 favourite to produce most tries of the three games. The other two matches are both 7-4.

Wales are 1-1 with Chandler and bet365 plus two points with the Irish 1-1 at the same firms minus two.

Bookies expect France to beat Italy by 17 or 18 points. They are biggest 1-1 with Chandler minus 16 and should do it.

We'll preview the England v Scotland Calcutta Cup clash later.

Recommendations

  • Shane Williams to score v Ireland (2-1, William Hill)
  • France to beat Italy minus 16 (1-1, Chandler)
