With European football on hold for a few days as we count down to Christmas, punters need to look further afield for their football fix.
Thankfully, there's an international tournament going on in the Middle East to help fill the void over the next couple of days as teams slug it out in the Arabian Gulf Cup.
The group stage is already up and running and the second round of fixtures takes place in Group A today, with all four teams level on points after drawing their first match.
Hosts Kuwait have a tricky game with the UAE while Qatar take on Oman in the other match, with each side looking to take a big step towards the semi-finals with a victory.
Oman vs Qatar top betting tips
Oman don't have a great record against Qatar and have failed to beat them across seven previous meetings. Qatar have won three in a row in this fixture, all by a one-goal margin, so it will probably pay to back them to come out on top again.
BoyleSports price a Qatari win at evens for this one and that looks decent value while the half-time draw also appeals at 20/23 given how close the first round of games were in Group A.
Qatar should have most of the pressure so I'm also drawn to the 11/10 on offer for them to win over 4.5 corners.
Kuwait vs United Arab Emirates top betting tips
Kuwait showed in the opening game that they will bring plenty to their own party and confidence will be high heading into the second match against the UAE.
The last two meetings both ended in draws so this has the potential to be another tight game, with BoyleSports pricing the stalemate at 2/1.
But the bookies fancy the UAE to make their class tell as they are the 5/6 favourites, with Kuwait as big as 16/5 despite having home advantage.
BoyleSports price the hosts at 20/23 in the double chance market and that could be worth a punt based on results in the first round of games.
The UAE won 9-1 on the corner count in their draw with Qatar so over nine match corners could pay off here at 10/11 with Bet365.
Amazulu FC vs Mamelodi Sundowns top betting tips
There's also top flight action in South Africa today and leaders Mameoldi Sundowns should have too much quality for Amazulu.
The home side sit down in 13th place and BoyleSports make them 9/2 outsiders against the in-form leaders.
Sundowns are just 8/15 for another win but backing them to score in both halves pays a decent 15/8 with the same firm.
Backing Mamelodi Sundowns to be winning at half-time and full-time also looks good at 6/4.
