Mid-table Brentford will look to continue their impressive form at home this season as they welcome high-flying Nottingham Forest to the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Thomas Frank’s hosts are the third-highest scorers in the Premier League, slamming in 32 goals across their opening 16 matches, with an incredible 26 (81%) of them coming in front of their supporters.
The Bees have found the back of the net in all eight of their Premier League contests on home soil – notching on multiple occasions in seven (88%) of them – and will look to add to their impressive goal-tally at home against a Forest backline that is without a clean sheet in each of their past six road trips, shipping multiple goals in four (67%) of them.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s visitors have scored 21 goals across their opening 16 Premier League encounters this campaign, with 11 (52%) of them coming on their travels.
The Tricky Trees have only failed to score in three of their Premier League contests – striking on multiple occasions in four of their past eight – and will look to breach a Brentford backline that has recorded a solitary shutout this season, shipping multiple goals in 11 (69%) of them.

Brentford’s opening 16 Premier League fixtures this campaign have averaged an eye-catching 3.88 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in a league-high 14 (88%) of them, whilst 13 (81%) have also featured three or more goals.
Those numbers remarkably rise when playing at home, with their eight Premier League contests in front of their supporters averaging an eye-watering five goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in all eight (100%) whilst seven (88%) have produced a minimum of three goals.
Forest’s opening eight Premier League contests on the road this campaign have averaged 2.88 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals paying out in five of their past six – with four (67%) of them in that six-game sample also producing goals at both ends – and I’m anticipating another high-scoring encounter at the Gtech on Saturday afternoon.
