Tuesday’s Football Tips: Ruud’s Leicester dugout debut could be a thriller

There's a full Premier League card this midweek and the pick of tonight's two games is Ruud van Nistelrooy's dugout debut at Leicester City.

The Dutchman has a tough job on his hands after Saturday's 4-1 loss at Brenford left the Foxes hovering just a point above the drop zone.

But he will fancy his chances of getting off to a winning start against a West Ham United side who conceded five times in the first half against Arsenal at the weekend.

Both these sides have drawn six of their 13 league games so the stalemate appeals tonight at 41/20 with Kwiff while the half-time draw is shorter at 21/20.

There's not much between these sides so backing a one-goal winning margin for either team also appeals at 5/4 with McBookie.

Wrexham vs Barnsley top betting tips

Wrexham's quest for a third successive promotion remains on track but they face a tough test tonight at home to sixth-placed Barnsley in League One.

The Hollywood fairytale is showing no sign of losing its lustre with Phil Parkinson's side sitting second, albeit having played two more games than third-placed Birmingham.

Strong home form has been the bedrock of their campaign, with Wrexham unbeaten in 11 at the Racecourse Ground and 10 of those games ending in victories.

So the Welsh side could be worth a punt at 23/20 with Kwiff tonight, especially with Barnsley coming off the back of a shoot-out defeat by Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup at the weekend.
