Fridays top tips

There's Friday night Premier League football this week and the clash between Brighton and Southampton should be a good watch.

Two of the youngest managers in the top flight face off as 31-year-old Fabian Hurzeler takes on Russell Martin, who is just eight years his senior.

Both like to play attacking football but while it's working nicely for the flying Seagulls, Saints find themselves four points adrift at the bottom and hot favourites for the drop.

Martin can take heart from his side's display in their 3-2 loss to Liverpool last time out but Brighton are Betano's 4/11 hot favourites to pile on the misery for Martin.

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Southampton top betting tips

We should see goals at both ends in this game, with Southampton netting in five of their away games this term. BTTS is just 8/13 with Betano but adding on over 2.5 goals boosts the odds to 20/23.

Joao Pedro produced one of the assists of the season when he side up Kaoru Mitoma's strike at Bournemouth last weekend. The Brazilian also scored the opener in that 2-1 victory and looks good at 11/10 for anytime scorer tonight with Kwiff.

With both teams likely to play on the front foot, we should see a few corners in this game and Kwiff price over 11.5 flag kicks at evens.

Sheffield United vs Sunderland top betting tips

There's a huge match in the EFL Championship as second-placed Sheffield United take on a Sunderland side sitting just two points behind them at the top of the table.

The Blades have hit a rich vein of form, winning five of their last six games, so could be worth a punt at a best 11/10 with QuinnBet to keep their hot streak going.

Sunderland have gone off the boil a little but have still been hard to beat, with their last five matches ending in draws as part of a 10-game run without defeat.

This should be a close one so the half-time draw appeals at evens with 47/50 with Kwiff while McBookie price a one-goal winning margin for either side at 5/4.

Dumbarton vs Alloa Athletic top betting tips

The Scottish Cup third-round action gets underway tonight with an intriguing tie between two League One clubs as Alloa visit Dumbarton.

The Sons have just gone into administration and have dropped below fellow crisis club Inverness in the table after a points deduction.

But Caley Thistle's form has picked up since their own 15-point penalty so it will be interesting to see if Dumbarton's players rally round too and go that extra yard.

Alloa sit third in the table, just a point behind leaders Kelty, so they look pretty good value for the win in tonight's cup tie at 33/20 with Kwiff.

It ended in a 3-3 draw when these sides faced off in the league earlier this season so going for goals could pay off. Combining BTTS and over 2.5 goals pays 17/20 at Betano.

Friday's Super Singles

  • Joao Pedro anytime scorer 11/10 Kwiff
  • HT draw in Sheff United v Sunderland 47/50 Kwiff
  • Alloa to win 33/20 Kwiff
