The bottom two in League A Group 4 in the Nations League meet in Zurich on Friday night as Switzerland plays host to Serbia in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Murat Yakin’s hosts have scored 25 goals across their previous 14 Nations League fixtures and Euro 2024 qualifiers, with 15 (60%) of them coming on home soil
The Red Crosses have found the back of the net in each of their previous seven competitive fixtures in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in five (71%) of them – and will look to breach a Serbian defence that is without a clean sheet in each of their previous five competitive contests on their travels, shipping multiple goals in each of the past three.
Dragan Stojković’s visitors have scored 17 goals across their previous 12 Nations League fixtures and Euro 2024 qualifiers, with seven (41%) of them coming on their travels.
The Eagles have found the back of the net in nine (75%) of those contests – only failing to score against Spain (X2) and at Denmark – and will look to trouble a Swiss backline that has recorded a solitary shutout across their past 12 Nations League fixtures and Euro 2024 qualifiers (at home to minnows Andorra), shipping multiple goals in each of their last four.

Switzerland’s previous seven Nations League fixtures and Euro 2024 qualifiers on home soil have averaged an eye-catching 3.86 goals per game, with all seven of them producing at least two strikes, whilst six (86%) of them have seen Over 2.5 Goals land.
Serbia’s past 12 Nations League fixtures and Euro 2024 qualifiers have averaged 2.58 goals per game, with 11 (92%) of them producing at least two goals, whilst six of their previous nine have seen Over 2.5 Goals payout.
Therefore, I’m happy to back the Over 2.25 Asian goal line. This would mean if there are exactly two goals scored, we will lose just half of our stake, whilst three or more strikes will reward a full payout.
