Atlanta Hawks vs New York Knicks: Knicks to win with handicap (-7) @ 9/10
While both of these teams have the same number of wins, the Hawks also have a couple of losses more, but even if that wasn't the case, the Knicks are a much better team. In fact, the Knicks should've probably had more wins based on the quality of their team and even though they're missing Mitchell and Achiuwa, they still have plenty of firepower.
The Hawks are without a few of their rotational pieces, including Bogdan Bogdanovic, but they might also be without Young and Hunter, who are listed as game-time decisions for tonight. All in all, I expect the Knicks to dominate in this match and secure a convincing win.
Dallas Mavericks vs Chicago Bulls: Under 237.50 total points @ 9/10
I was honestly a bit surprised to see the line set so high for two teams that are currently averaging mid-level points per game. The Bulls have averaged 115.0 points per game and the Mavs have averaged 112.7 points per game so far this season, so I don't see why we should expect that many points from them tonight.
Furthermore, the last there meetings between the Mavs and the Bulls have all gone under 237.50 total points, which is exactly why that is my second NBA prediction for tonight.
Phoenix Suns vs Miami Heat: Suns to win with handicap (-5.5) @ 9/10
While the Suns did struggle against the Embiid-less 76ers at home a couple of nights ago and most of their wins this season were hard-fought, in single digits, they are still 6-1 at the moment. The Heat, on the other hand, are 3-3, and all of their wins came against teams projected to sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
The Heat are also without Jaime Jaquez Jr. and last season, the Suns have won both of their meetings with Miami by double digits. Given the current forms of both teams and Phoenix having the home-court advantage, I expect the Suns to win comfortably.
