After returning to winning ways in Austria on Sunday, Monday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Nations League once again, and I’ve highlighted one fixture that appeals to me for goals.

The top two in the Nations League A Group 3 meet in Bavaria tomorrow evening as old rivals Germany and the Netherlands face off at the Allianz Arena in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.
Germany began their Nations League campaign impressively and emphatically as they thrashed Hungary 5-0 in Dusseldorf, with four of those strikes coming in the second half.
Julian Nagelsmann’s visitors then played out a 2-2 draw with the Dutch in Amsterdam before going to Bosnia on Friday night and winning 1-2 to move them two points clear of their upcoming opponents at the top of League A Group 3.
Ronald Koeman’s hosts made a winning start to their Nations League campaign as they defeated Bosnia & Herzegovina 5-2 in Eindhoven on Saturday evening, thanks to a flurry of late strikes.
However, The Oranje have subsequently gone on to draw each of their next two at home to Germany in the reverse fixture in Amsterdam last month and away at Hungary on Friday night, with Denzel Dumfries clinching a point late on.

Remarkably, 21 of The Dutch’s previous 25 matches in all competitions have seen Over 2.5 Goals payout – with 11 (48%) of them producing four or more goals – whilst all three of the German’s Nations League fixtures have produced at least three strikes, with two (67%) of them breaking the Over 3.5 Goals barrier.
These two nations have faced off seven times in the last six years, with their matches averaging an eye-catching 3.86 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in all seven (100%) of them, whilst Over 2.5 Goals has paid out in six (86%) – including a 2-2 draw in Amsterdam just last month – and I’m happy to back goals between these two old rivals once again.
