worldcuptrophy

BOOKIES have clawed back some of the cash they lost on the World Cup in week one – but punters remain just ahead.

The unexpected goal glut has helped punters who'd rather back overs than unders and yes to both to score than no – and the match resukt and both to score market has also been a joy.

I've put up winners and losers over the first two weeks and will continue to do so. Most of my main antepost best are still running and here is rundown of what I tipped pre-tournament.

Lionel Messi to top score and Argentina to win have been covered partially with bets on Thomas Muller and Neymar while I've taken Germany on the outrights. I still believe the winner will come from Brazil, Argentina or Germany even though all three have deficiencies.

So here are the anteposts I put up – let's us know how yours are doing and the covers you have done or are planning.

Thinking off backing Columbia to win it outright…should of grabbed the 28/1 at the start for a medal. Can’t back everything but

Recoba1980, maybe worth a back to lay. I’ve been impressed but can’t see them going all the way.

Van Persie to finish top Man Utd scorer @ 2/1
Suarez to finish top Liverpool scorer @ 13/8
Muller to finish top Bayern Munich scorer @ 11/4
    £4 doubles, £8 treble.

Van Persie & Suarez are both up as I can see, but Muller still has to out score Robben. Also done Fred for top tournament scorer. ( DOWN ! )
