The 22-year-old has only shown flashes of his brilliant potential since signing from Salzburg in 2022 but Tuesday night was probably his best performance in a Dortmund shirt.
Adeyemi is a streaky player who depends a lot on confidence. This season, whenever he has scored one goal for club and country he has gone on to score two or three. After his exploits against Celtic, he will be on cloud nine which could spell trouble for Union Berlin this weekend.
