How the bookies view it: Gunners favoured for a home victory
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Arsenal are the favourites on Tuesday – priced at 3/4 by Betano right now. These odds reflect Arsenal’s promising Premier League form, and they also accurately paint a picture of PSG’s form. We say that as the French side has odds of 10/3 to take an away win in this one.
Head-to-head: Very little to go on
As is the case with many European sides, there isn’t a ton of history between Arsenal and PSG. In fact, these two have only played twice in the Champions League. Interestingly, both of these meetings have resulted in score draws after 90 minutes of play.
That said, these games were played back in 2016, so one could argue that these results have little bearing on the upcoming encounter. At the same time, there’s a chance that the previous 1-1 and 2-2 draws have been taken into account based on the odds.

Barcola has stepped up massively following the departure of Kylian Mbappe. And he is standing tall on top of the Ligue 1 scoring table with 6 goals in 6 – two of them coming in PSG’s most recent league game on the weekend.

With a few ongoing injuries, Arsenal will inevitably be without Odegaard on Tuesday. However, Ben White is now a ‘maybe’, which is promising. As for PSG, their first-choice keeper (Donnarumma) will still be out on Tuesday, and Ramos will remain absent, too.

Based on Champions League results this season, PSG and Arsenal are separated by just one place. PSG are in 15th while Arsenal in 16th, despite PSG starting with a win and Arsenal kicking things off with a draw.
