RANGERS return to Premiership action with a High Noon showdown against Hibs on Sunday.
Philippe Clement's men were in Europa League action on Thursday in Sweden against Malmo and produced by far their best display of the season when they swept them aside in a 2-0 win.
It could and should have been more and was very impressive.
Prior to that, they had picked up with a couple of wins against both Dundee clubs in the league and Premier Sports Cup. The latter game saw their long-awaited return to Ibrox and they looked more comfortable than in their Hampden exile.
They face a Hibs side who should be fresh after enjoying a break last weekend.
However, they would probably have rather played after a routine win over St Johnstone the previous week gave them their first league win of the season.
It was overdue and had been coming and Hibs look like they have steadily improved after a rocky start to the season.
But of course, it's a big ask to go to Govan and come back with anything…even against a Rangers team who were in midweek European action.

Rangers started the week at around 4/9, but have been backed in to 2/5 with Ladbrokes and may go off even shorter after their midweek showing.

Rangers loved a game against Hibs last season who were unable to lay a glove on them with four Rangers wins in four games.
In fact, Rangers have now won the last seven fixtures and Hibs' last league win at Ibrox was six years ago.

James Tavernier has been much-maligned by Rangers fans this season, but the captain has shrugged the criticism off and got back to doing what he does best – converting penalties – last week. He is 3/1 to score anytime with UniBet.

Hibs have got a deplorable recent record against Rangers and that looks set to continue with Rangers reaching top form in Sweden.
You have always got to be wary about a team in European midweek action, but they should have won by far more and the amount of chances created was impressive. One of these days, they will take them.
Despite a poor start to the season, Hibs boss David Gray has built a decent squad with plenty of options off the bench now too including veteran duo Dwight Gayle and Junior Hoilett.
They should be able to add to what could be an entertaining affair. Back Rangers to win and over 3.5 goals with Paddy Power at 9/5.
