Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Brazillian top flight, and I’ve highlighted a goals-based selection in one of the fixtures.

Two clubs separated only by two points in the Brazilian Serie A table meet at the Arena MRV on Sunday evening as 10th-placed Atletico Mineiro plays host to 12th-placed RB Bragantino in a fixture that appeals to me for goals at both ends.
Gabriel Milito’s hosts have scored 32 goals across their opening 24 matches in Serie A this term, with 16 (50%) of them coming on home soil.
The Galo have found the back of the net in all bar two of their league contests in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in four of their last six – and will look to breach an RB Bragantino backline that has recorded a joint league-low three clean sheets this campaign, with just one of those coming on their travels.
Pedro Caixinha’s visitors’ have scored 31 goals across their opening 25 contests in the Brazilian top flight this term, with 13 (42%) of those coming on their travels.
The Massa Bruta have found the back of the net in all bar four of their league contests – including in 10/13 (77%) away from home – and will look to trouble an Atletico Mineiro defence that has registered only five clean sheets in the league this season, with just two of those coming in front of their supporters.

Pedro Caixinha’s visitors’ opening 25 contests in the Brazilian top flight are averaging 2.52 goals per game, with an impressive 18 (72%) featuring goals at both ends.
These sides have faced off nine times in the last four years, with all nine (100%) of those meetings seeing Both Teams to Score payout – including in the reverse fixture back in June – and I’m backing this trend to continue in Belo Horizonte on Sunday night.
