AFTER a lean end to last week it was pleasing to land five winners across the weekend, including a 7/1 card bet at Aberdeen on Sunday, so hopefully our luck will continue today.
The opening weekend of the EFL Championship threw up some thrilling games and there should be another one tonight as Luton Town face Burnley at Kenilworth Road.
This was a Premier League fixture last term but both sides failed to stay in the top flight after winning promotion from the second tier.
Luton emerged with more credit than Burnley, despite being written off as cannon fodder after their surprise play-off triumph at Wembley.
Rob Edwards has kept most of the squad that ruffled plenty of Premier League feathers, with Ross Barkley the only notable departure.
But there's more uncertainty at Burnley, with manager Vincent Burnley a shock appointment at Bayern Munich and Scott Parker taking the reins.
Parker has twice led teams to promotion from the Championship and this opener in Luton will give us an idea if a repeat is on the cards at Turf Moor.

Luton Town v Burnley top betting tips
Luton Town were a great team for the neutrals to watch last term, with BTTS and over 2.5 goals landing in 29 of their games. I can't see their approach changing too much back in the Championship so this should be another good watch.
Both teams to score is just 4/6 for this one and over 2.5 strikes is only a little better at 5/6. But if you combine those picks in a bet builder at Betfred it boosts the odds to 21/20.
Corners were another good option with the Hatters last term and we could see a lot of them on the tight pitch at Kenilworth Road. Over 11 corners pays 11/8 with Bet365 while backing Luton at -1 in the handicap pays 10/11 with the same firm.
Alfie Doughty's deliveries are a big part of Luton's gameplan and he's 10/3 with Bet365 for an assist. Backing him to either score or assist also looks decent value at 7/4.
Arouca v Vitoria Guimaraes top tips
Portugal's top flight is back underway and Vitoria Guimaraes have a tricky opener on the road at Arouca.
Just two places separated these sides last season, with Vitoria claiming the final European slot and Arouca finishing in seventh.
But there was a 22-point gap between them so that suggests the team from Guimaraes have more quality in their ranks.
Vitoria already have some Conference League qualifiers under their belt and they claimed an impressive 3-0 win away to Zurich on Thursday.
So the 6/4 available at Betfred for a Vitoria Guimaraes win tonight looks pretty decent value, especially with Arouca yet to play a competitive game.
Ricardo Mangas has scored three times already for Vitoria this season and looks overpriced at 4/1 for anytime scorer.
Hammarby v IF Brommapojkarna top tips
There's one game in Sweden's top flight this evening and third-placed Hammarby will be out to keep their faint title hopes alive with a win over IF Brommapojkarna.
Kim Hellberg's men are 10 points behind leaders Malmo but this is their game in hand so all hope isn't lost yet. Hammarby have won three in a row, with the last two victories coming by three-goal margins, so it's no surprise to see them as 9/10 favourites.
But IF Brommapojkarna have also won three of their last four and have smashed four goals in each of their last two outings. That suggests we will see goals at both ends this evening but combining BTTS and over 2.5 strikes only takes you to 4/6.
There's better value in the scorer markets where Jusef Erabi is 7/5 for a goal after netting in two of his last three outings for Hammarby.
