Firstly, apologies for the mistake in yesterday's Lucky 15 bet. I didn't realize that I had tipped a horse in the same race as Rizzel until the next morning and had no time to fix the mistake.

Cairnzy's tips
Cervetto 4/1 – Sandown 8.15
Cervetto has turned a corner since joining the Dylan Cunha yard and comes here in fine form with two wins and a placed effort in her last four runs. She won in good fashion last time out at Sandown and the form of that run boasts well given she had 4 subsequent winners well behind her on that occasion. She's up 5lb for this contest which demands more but In her current form I wouldn't put it past her.
Oj Lifestyle 11/4 – Brighton 3.30
Oj Lifestyle was a huge-priced winner at 125/1 when landing a maiden at Newbury back in 2022. He hasn't progressed as connections would of thought but nonetheless, he's down to a career-low mark of only 65 and can go close in what is the weakest race this horse has contested in during his racing career. My selection drops back a couple of furlongs in trip which I thought was the right move given he has been pretty poor over middle distances this term. Connections have also gone for the blinkers on him, which hopefully spark that little bit extra out of him in the business end.
Rizzel's tips
Temur Khan 2/1 – Brighton 4.30
For Day 2 of the Brighton Festival, I've opted for Temur Khan to be victorious in the Class 6 Classified Stakes Race.
Once a decent handicapper, the now 9-year-old is racing at the bottom of the racing pyramid for pittance prize money. He is a course regular at Brighton and knows his way around this track like the back of his hand, with four wins at the track. He is in decent form, showing by winning his last start in the same level of race at Lingfield, and today he should be tough to beat with Jack Doughty taking off 5lbs.
Tony Carroll loves having runners at this track and normally targets this festival, with him usually doing very well.
Carrytheone 4/1 – Chepstow 8.30
Cairnzy recently put up Carrytheone a few weeks ago when the Michel Bell trained horse ran in the Bunbury Cup at the Newmarket July Cup meeting.
On that occasion in the highly contested sprint race, Carrytheone got no run whatsoever under Ryan Moore, and it came at a crucial point in the race when he was going better than most and if he had a clear run of things, he'd have gone close to winning it. Since then, he has run once more, which was at Ascot in a race which didn't have too much pace, and anything coming from off the pace had little to no chance, so his fifth-placed effort was a decent performance in hindsight.
His mark is now in the low 100s, which does make life difficult in handicaps like this, but I think he is still on a very good mark and with this race being an easier assignment than what he has been up against in recent races, he should be too good for them at this Racing League meeting.
WHAT IS A LUCKY 15 BET?
A Lucky 15 bet consists of 15 unique bets, covering every possible combination that comes from backing four selections. The 15 bets are broken down like this:
– 1 fourfold accumulator
– 4 trebles, with each treble omitting one of your selections
– 6 doubles, again covering every possible combination
– 4 singles
The attraction of a Lucky 15 is that it offers many more ways to win than a standard accumulator. A Lucky 15 uses both your acca and your singles as well as producing trebles and doubles that reward you for correctly calling 2/4 or 3/4 of your selections. To cover the 15 separate bets, a Lucky 15 uses your stake 15 times. If you were to place £1 on a Lucky 15, you would be staking £15 in total across the various bets.
