The Glorious Goodwood festival draws to a close on Saturday, which may come as a good thing to some punters, as it's been a tough festival this year to call winning selections. Cairnzy and Rizzel are back for one last nibble of the cherry before it's back to normality on Sunday.

Cairnzy's Tips
Lethal Levi 10/1 – Goodwood 3.35
The one I like here at an attractive price is Karl Burke's Lethal Levi. My selection is a consistent performer in top-level sprint handicaps and appears to be coming into form at the ideal moment to lay down a bold challenge in this wide-open affair. A recent good effort in the Bunbury Cup saw him finish second and a 1lb rise for that effort seems fair in the grand scheme of things. Breaking well in these handicaps is pivotal and you always need luck in running but if things fall correctly he has a big chance.
Dragon Of Malta 9/2 – Galway 4.50
Dragon Of Malta has already been nibbled at in the betting from 7s into 9/2 but he's still worthy of a bet in this contest. Having course form at Galway holds significant value, and Dragon Of Malta possesses exactly that having won at the course twice as well as a runner-up effort during his career. He runs off a mark of 70, which looks exploitable, and arrives on the back of a good run at Killarney 2 weeks ago when finishing a creditable fourth over 1m.
Rizzel's Tips
Lmay 3/1 – Newmarket 2.40
I had this race split between the two Gosden horses but ended up going with Lmay based on the jockey booking of Rab Havlin who would've had the pick between the two.
Lmay was a runner-up as Royal Ascot over 1m 6f behind a Willie Mullins horse who was previously with David Menuisier and had shown some very good level of form in Class 1 races, so it was a very good effort. That trip seemed to be a little too long for Lmay, as even though she did run a brilliant race to finish second, her finishing kick dwindled towards the end and I think the return to 1m 4f will be highly beneficial. The form of that Ascot race looks solid from the horses in behind, as we saw Alsakib (fourth) go on to win on his next start at York in a Class 1 race.
It's interesting that Rab has opted for the 4-year-old over the lightly raced more unexposed Place Of Safety, but given Rab has ridden Place Of Safety on both of her starts, he will surely know the level between the pair.
Maso Bastie 3/1 – Hamilton 8.10
The rare runner at Hamilton for Michael Bell caught my eye in this 1m 5f Class 4 contest.
Maso Bastie is the sole runner on the card for Michael Bell who has only sent eight runners to the stiff Scottish track in the last five years, which has yielded two winners, with a further two more being placed. He has a 23% SR in his training career at this track from 155 runners, so whenever they tend to make the long journey up north they have to be highly respected.
Maso Bastie is making her first start over today's trip, and based on how she ran at Newmarket over three furlongs shorter it looks to be the correct decision. She has run over 1m 4f in the past, but that has come on a slower surface and considering she put in a good effort behind a progressive horse last time out on a faster surface, today's ground should be more up her street.
WHAT IS A LUCKY 15 BET?
A Lucky 15 bet consists of 15 unique bets, covering every possible combination that comes from backing four selections. The 15 bets are broken down like this:
– 1 fourfold accumulator
– 4 trebles, with each treble omitting one of your selections
– 6 doubles, again covering every possible combination
– 4 singles
The attraction of a Lucky 15 is that it offers many more ways to win than a standard accumulator. A Lucky 15 uses both your acca and your singles as well as producing trebles and doubles that reward you for correctly calling 2/4 or 3/4 of your selections. To cover the 15 separate bets, a Lucky 15 uses your stake 15 times. If you were to place £1 on a Lucky 15, you would be staking £15 in total across the various bets.
