SCOTLAND'S top flight gets back underway today and all eyes are on Tynecastle as Rangers kick off against Heart of Midlothian.
It has been a traumatic summer for Gers with a construction balls-up forcing them to relocate their home games to Hampden for the first couple of months.

Taking on Hearts, who finished third last term, away from home looks like a potential banana skin on paper but Rangers won five of their six meetings with the Jambos last term.
And Steven Naismith's men have also been in dismal form in their friendlies, losing 5-1 to Tottenham and crashing to defeats against Fleetwood Town and Leyton Orient.

Heart of Midlothian v Rangers Top Betting Tips
It ended 3-3 when these sides faced off on the final day of last season and this curtain-raiser promises more goals. Both defences have looked far from solid in pre-season so it's no surprise to see BTTS at just 8/13 at Betfred while over 2.5 goals only pays 8/15.
You need to go to over 3.5 strikes to get into odds-against territory at 11/8 so it's probably better going for the anytime scorer market instead.
Hearts skipper Lawrence Shankland has been heavily linked with a move to Ibrox this summer as he enters the final year of his contract. He has smashed over 50 goals in the last two campaigns combined so the Scotland striker looks good value at 7/4 for a goal today.
Cyriel Dessers hasn't won over the Rangers fans but he should lead the line today with Danilo still searching for match fitness. The Nigerian scored four times against the Jambos last term and is 13/10 for another strike today.
The tight Tynecastle pitch often leads to a lot of corners and backing over 11.5 flag kicks today pays 11/10.
Motherwell v Ross County Top Tips
The other SPFL Premiership clash today sees Motherwell host Ross County and it's a tricky one to call.
Betfred make the Steelmen 9/10 favourites with home advantage but I caught the last 30 minutes of their League Cup clash with Partick Thistle at Fir Park last week and Well were terrible.
They were fortunate to escape with a 0-0 draw and were also held to a draw by Montrose earlier in the group while Ross County won all four games in their section.
That suggests the Staggies could be worth backing in the double chance market today at 9/10 with Betfred.
New signing Ronan Hale has made a good start for Ross County with three goals in his first two games. The striker looks overpriced for another today at 11/4 with Bet365.
Airdrieonians v Raith Rovers Top Tips
The SPFL Championship could be the most competitive league in British football this season with so many teams in with a chance of promotion.
Apart from promoted Hamilton Accies, I wouldn't be surprised if any of their other sides made a play-off push so each game should be keenly contested.
The bookies make Raith Rovers slight favourites for the title after pushing Dundee United close last term. But they have a tricky opener away to an Airdrie side who played some superb stuff in the League Cup group stage.
The Diamonds scored 15 goals and came close to shocking Premiership Aberdeen up at Pittodrie. That makes me think they could be worth a punt today at 8/5 with home advantage.
We should see goals at both ends and combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals pays 6/4 at Bet365. Airdrie new boys Ben Wilson has six goals to his name already and is 5/2 with the same firm for anytime scorer.

I think Rangers could struggle against Hearts. Rangers have a lot of new players and sometimes it takes a while to settle in. Tynecastle is arguably the toughest away day outside Glasgow. I know Rangers have a good record against Hearts but this early in the season I think it’s best to wait till Rangers get a few games under their belt especially at 4/7 for the win, it’s just too slim for me.

Wouldn’t touch the result market for either side if I’m honest, both sides come into this game with more questions than answers. I can’t see rangers keeping a clean sheet however, they were suspect defensively at the end of last season and I know pre season friendlies are hard to judge but they look even more leaky now.
The 7/4 on hearts to get a corner in the first ten minutes is good value. Rangers have been notoriously slow starters for some time now and I expect hearts to put them under pressure in the opening stages. Small stakes on over 1.5/2.5.
Connor Barron doesn’t shirk a challenge and seen a few tasty ones in pre season, have a feeling he will be out to impress tomorrow, maybe overly so, and wouldn’t be surprised to see him pick up a booking. Expected him to be about half the price on offer so have no issues having a small stake on 11/2.

Great to have proper old school lower league football back . 2 teams stand out for me today, firstly Ayr United to beat Hamilton, Ayr appear to have strengthened well and could well be in the mix for a play off slot, whereas the noises coming out at Accues aren’t good with player unrest over unpaid wages etc. Ayr win for me.
Secondly my own team Clyde who look a different proposition this season with decent quality players coming in for this level.
