Wednesday’s Football Tips: FCSB out to relive former glories in Champions League qualifying against Maccabi Tel Aviv

THE Euro qualifiers keep coming thick and fast, with the clash between Maccabi Tel Aviv and FCSB taking top billing tonight.

Champions League qualifying was good for me last night as all three Super Singles landed so hopefully there's some more value to be found.

The tie between Maccabi and the Romanians is one of the few still in the balance with the teams locked at 1-1 after last week's first leg in Bucharest.

FCSB are the artists formerly known as Steaua Bucharest, forced into a name change after a dispute with the Ministry of National Defence over ownership of the former army club's legacy.

As Steaua they ruled Europe in 1986, beating Barcelona on penalties in the European Cup Final, but it's 12 years since the club last graced the group stage of UEFA's top tournament.

Now they have to topple the Israeli champions away from home but they will be spared a trip to the Middle East due to the ongoing conflict. This match is being held in Budapest instead and will feel like a cup final with the score level from the first leg.

Maccabi Tel Aviv v FCSB Top Betting Tips

The first leg was tense and took a while to get going, with both goals coming inside the final 20 minutes. This game could be similar if neither side scores early on so the half-time draw appeals at 21/20 with Betfred.

Backing most goals to come after the break once more could also pay off and that bet pays 11/10.

FCSB have made a poor start to their domestic campaign, taking just two points from three games, so if I had to pick a winner, I'd be leaning towards the Israelis at 11/8.

Partizan Belgrade v Dynamo Kiev Top Tips

Rangers fans will be keeping an eye on Partizan Belgrade's clash with Dynamo Kiev as they are facing the winners of this tie in the next round of Champions League qualifying.

It would be a major surprise if Partizan turned this tie around after losing 6-2 in the first leg last week. Betfred make the Serbs 50/1 shots to go through but they could easily win on the night and that bet pays 11/4. You can also get a tempting 13/10 on them winning either half.

Partizan Belgrade have to go for it as they bid to keep their dream alive so it bodes well for goals again. Backing over 3.5 strikes pays 6/4 while over 1.5 first-half goals is priced at 11/8.

Auda v Cliftonville Top Tips

There's Conference League qualifiers tonight as well and Northern Irish side Cliftonville have a mountain climb in Latvia against Auda.

Jim Magilton's men lost 2-1 at home in the first leg and now face an Auda side who won home and away against B36 Torshavn in the last round.

Bet365 make the Latvians 1/2 for another victory tonight with Cliftonville the 9/2 outsiders.

BTTS came up last week and the Northern Irish side need to attack so I fancy it again tonight at 11/10.
