Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the South Korean top flight, and I’ve highlighted one team in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Fourth-placed Gangwon will look to go level on points with league leaders the Pohang Steelers on Friday as they welcome poor-travelling Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors to the Chuncheon Songam Sports Town in a fixture that I’ve come up with a couple of ways to get the hosts on side.
Gangwon put an end to their two-match winless run in the K League 1 last time out, as they thrashed mid-table Jeju 4-0.
Yoon Jong-hwan’s hosts have now won five of their last six league contests in front of their supporters (W5-D0-L1) and seven of their previous 10 (W7-D1-L2), with both defeats coming against the Pohang Steelers (1st) and Gimcheon Sangmu (2nd).
Jeonbuk head into this clash off the back of successive home wins for the first time this season, as they defeated faltering champions Ulsan 2-0 to move three points clear of bottom side Daejeon Hana Citizen.
However, Kim Do-heon’s visitors have picked up just eight points on their travels this season (W2-D2-L8), with their solitary point across their last five coming against the only side below them in the K League 1 table, Daejeon Hana Citizen.

Gangwon are the leading scorers in the Korean top flight, slamming in 42 goals across their opening 24 matches, with 28 (67%) of them coming on home soil.
Yoon Jong-hwan’s hosts have found the back of the net in all 12 (100%) of their league contests in front of their supporters – notching on multiple occasions in nine of their last 10 – and I’m backing them to bag another double at home against a visiting defence that has registered a solitary clean sheet on their travels this campaign, shipping multiple goals in four of their previous five and seven of their last 10.
