Host nation and pre-tournament favourites France hit the ground running on Wednesday night with a comprehensive 3-0 win over the USA.
In contrast, Guinea fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat in their Group A opener against fellow underdogs New Zealand.
Unsurprisingly, France are heavy 1/5 favourites to make it two wins on the bounce on Saturday night, but backing them to overcome a -1.75 start on the Asian Handicap looks like a nice way in at 17/20 on Bet 365.
Here we would land a half win if France triumph by two or more goals, while a Les Bleus success by three clear goals would deliver a full pay out.
Thierry Henry’s side cemented their status as the favourites for a Gold Medal this summer after sweeping the USA aside and they should bank another three points with minimum fuss against inferior opposition matchday two.
After a slow start from both sides, Les Bleus flexed their muscles against the USA, with both Alexandre Lacazette and Michael Olise firing the French to victory.
