Cairnzy's managed to fire in two winners on the Lucky 15 thread on Monday with 11/2 and 7/2 winners. For Tuesday's Lucky 15 tips, Cairnzy and Rizzel have picked out horses from Killarney, Kempton, Beverley, and Nottingham.
Cairnzy's Tips
Coto De Caza 5/4 – Beverley 2.30
There is a chance that the meeting at Beverley will be abandonded due to weather conditions but on the chance it goes ahead, I'll take a chance on Coto De Caza. Simon & Ed Crisford have their string in good nick at present and their runner in the opener at Beverley looks a winner in waiting in my opinion. She ran quite green on debut but seemed to learn on the job as the race went on. She should come on bundles for that effort and can get off the mark at the second attempt.
Destinys Spirit 4/1 – Nottingham 4.45
Destiny's Spirit has been running consistently well recently and can probably count herself a tad unlucky to finish three-quarters of a length down in third in her most recent outing. She has 7lb claimer Shariq Mohd on board for this contest which should aid her chances of getting her head in front in what looks a wide-open affair. Porfin is another who runs consistently well at this level while Snow Berry arrives on the back of a recent victory from last month at this same course.
Rizzel's Tips
Lady Doris – Killarney 7.15
I think this race will be won by one of the three from the Ulster Oaks race from Down Royal a month ago, and the one I thought had the best chance was the bottom weight, Lady Doris. She put in the best effort late on in the Ulster Oaks down the outside and got up on the line, and was in need of every yard in that race over the extended 10f. Today she gets an extra furlong, which looks sure to suit based on how well she hit the line last time around. My main concern is that she is drawn in Stall 8, but given how well she finished down the outside at Down Royal, she has proven that she can take the widest route and still win races.
We Sea You 6/1 – Kempton 7.00
Ralph Beckett has been quieter than usual in the last fortnight but has still managed to get five winners on the board, so the form isn't anything to be worried about with We Sea You. Ralph is 1/5 with 2yo's on the AW this year and he boasts a good 18% SR at this track with his juveniles with a +39.46 to £1 level stakes. His filly ran well on debut but looked in need of that run and with that experience under her belt she can definitely put it up to the horses towards the head of the market. She has a good pedigree, mixed with speed and endurance, and I do think today's step up in trip to the mile will suit her as she was a bit outpaced in the final furlong, with maybe fatigue coming into play on her first start. That novice race was a decent race with the two horses ahead of her definitely looking above average.
WHAT IS A LUCKY 15 BET?
A Lucky 15 bet consists of 15 unique bets, covering every possible combination that comes from backing four selections. The 15 bets are broken down like this:
– 1 fourfold accumulator
– 4 trebles, with each treble omitting one of your selections
– 6 doubles, again covering every possible combination
– 4 singles
The attraction of a Lucky 15 is that it offers many more ways to win than a standard accumulator. A Lucky 15 uses both your acca and your singles as well as producing trebles and doubles that reward you for correctly calling 2/4 or 3/4 of your selections. To cover the 15 separate bets, a Lucky 15 uses your stake 15 times. If you were to place £1 on a Lucky 15, you would be staking £15 in total across the various bets.
DC if your looking in i would appreciate if you could put up a tip or two for wed x thur at Killarney cheers
