THIS week we move on to the AT&T Players Championship at Sawgrass with 29 of the FedEx top 30 in the field including eight former winners so it's certainly a great field.

First of all I’m going for one of the former winners, Sergio Garcia. He won in 2008 and is the second highest earner at the event behind Tiger Woods. I know he had a terrible Masters but still think he’s worth a punt.

Apart from the Masters his stats still hold up. His GIR percentage is just short of 70 and in putting he’s third in the charts from 10-15 ft.

Dustin Johnson was another flop for us in the Masters but his driving accuracy was way up at 75%, (59.69% for season), which I think could be important here. His GIR for the season is 70.77% and is second in birdie average. I’ve pointed out before he is in the top 10 on a lot of the stats and one bad tournament doesn’t change that.

Someone who I have been watching closely over the past few weeks is Jason Kokrak. Every time I look at a leaderboard he is right up there. The 29-year-old's GIR stat is 66% and driving accuracy 56% and hits a long ball (7th in the stats). Had a bad start at the Wells Fargo with 75 but followed that up with a 68 but unfortunately then hit a 73 in the third round. Still think he’s worth an eachway bet.

Another one I’ve been quietly watching is JB Holmes. Although his stats aren’t great they are respectable and he has a scoring average of 70. In his last three tournaments he has finished in the top ten 10 and having won at Wells Fargo should go well.

I've been away playing golf with Mr Fixit – the highlight being the St Omer course where a European Tour event is being held next mont. I hoped to win some money off him but he's been kings of the bandits.

Being in France explains lack of prices because I simply can't get them – so if anyone wants to post them that would be great.
