Our European football expert, Paul Watson points us in the direction of of some good looking bets across this weekend's fixtures.

Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund

IF Borussia Dortmund win today I reckon the league title will be all but in the bag.

A revitalised Bayern Munich will prove a stern test and with the season reaching “squeaky bum time” scoring another big win over their closest rivals could settle it.

Bayern have won their last three games, scoring eight times and conceding just once. Most importantly, they haven't lost at home to Dortmund in 20 years.

One of the key areas will be the pressure exerted by Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben down the flanks as it's one of easier ways to get directly at Dortmund with Marcel Schmelzer and Lukas Piszczek in for a tough afternoon.

Louis van Gaal will need to get his charges fired up, though, as an early freeze against a Borussia side that gets out the gate at 100mph could be disastrous.

I think while the result earlier this season, a 2-0 win for Dortmund, surprised a few people the champions have improved since Christmas and this should be even tighter.

A big blow for Dortmund comes in the shape of keeper Roman Weidenfeller. He's been in solid form this season but a knee problem has ruled him out here. I'm split down the middle with this one. A draw pays at 5-2 (sportingbet) but at 7-2 (betfred) Dortmund aren't a bad price.

I picked out Lucas Barrios (11-5, boylesports) last week and he'll be important again. Look to Thomas Muller to net anytime for Bayern (2-1, skybet).

Juventus v Bologna

Juventus slumped to another “shock” defeat last week and it's getting harder to really read how the Turin club are going to perform on any given day.

They desperately need to beat Bologna to get back among the Europa League places and save some face. However, the Rossoblu have lost just once this year – 1-0 last week to Roma – and will be no pushovers.

This could be another banana skin for the Old Lady and with Bologna priced at 13-2 (bet365) there could be money to be made. However, Alessandro Matri has been pulling out the stops since arriving on loan and I reckon he'll be among the goals today (13-10, Paddy Power).

Atletico Madrid v Sevilla

Sevilla will still be smarting after being dumped out of the Europa League and I'm not sure their focus will be right to tonight's game.

There's been a lot of talk around Atletico's new teenage sensation, Koke, and he could appear again.

I think Madrid have too much about them at the moment and I'm taking them here (6-5, William Hill).

What you talking about? He tipped up three games at the weekend and got two right. He advised Dortmund at 7-2 to win at Bayern as well as Barrios to score first. Everyone thinks they can do better. Let’s see your treble for this weekend.
