BETFRED will be paying four places on each-way bets in the Sky Bet Supreme Novices’ Hurdle from 8am on Saturday.
They will be the first bookie to commit to an extra place on the Cheltenham Festival opener and are also non-runner, no-bet on the race.
The Paul Nicholls-trained Irving heads the betting at 9-4 with Betfred, ahead of Vautour at 3-1 and Wicklow Brave at 6-1.
Betfred spokesman Andrew Griffiths said: “We can’t wait for the first race of the Festival so we’re going in early to offer Betfred punters the best value in the market.
“Our Supreme Novices’ market has been red-hot since we went non-runner, no-bet and we expect this concession will only add more fuel to the fire.”
Betfred will be broadcasting their first Cheltenham preview on Sunday evening to their 1386 betting shops. The show kicks off at 6pm on Betfred TV, with the panel featuring Tom Scudamore, Tom Lee and Derek Thompson.
As well as analysis and insight there will be plenty of Cheltenham price boosts available.
