HERE are my top tips from around Europe plus some games where I think both teams will score.

Borussia Dortmund v St Pauli

A little bit of wobbling from Dortmund as they hit the New Year jitters but their fantastic run before Christmas has created more than enough room for error.

St Pauli are on a great five-match unbeaten run and they can thank Gerald Asamoah for that, after he bagged four and created four in their last six games.

It's another tough one to call but I think Dortmund will edge it (1-4, Stan James) and Lucas Barrios could be among the goals (4-5, bet365).

Inter Milan v Cagliari

Third-placed Inter head into this match with their injury crisis easing as Lucio makes his comeback and MacDonald Mariga rejoins the squad.

They'll be missing Christian Chivu, who has been banned for four matches, while Walter Samuel and Diego Milito are out injured.

Giampaolo Pazzini (13-10) is one to watch for goals after netting the winner in midweek against Fiorentina.

I think Cagliari were given a fair dunt when star man Alessandro Matri was loaned to Juventus but Robert Acquafresca (4-1, skybet) and Nene (7-2, William Hill) are doing fantastically well.

That said, I still fancy Inter to grind it out (2-5, bet365).

Valencia v Sporting Gijon

Valencia may suffer from the old “European hangover” and a dodgy record against the Rojiblancos but they've been terrific in La Liga this season.

A little bump around the festive period shook hopes of really challenging for the title but it's seven wins in the last eight games.

It could be tricky and if Valencia are sluggish they'll be caught out but I'll go for Los Che (1-2, skybet).

Mainz v Bayern Munich

Rewind a few months to this fixture and we were blown away by how explosive Mainz were, coasting past everyone and looking every bit championship material as they shocked Bayern.

After a sensational winning streak was bumped just before No.8 by Hamburg, they haven't looked the same sort of unbeatable, fearless newcomers.
They've sparked here and there since Christmas but the 4-2 defeat to Koln last week will have really hurt.

I expect Bayern to be flying with Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben looking sharp as they close in on second spot. Take Munich (8-13, skybet).
