Following on from yesterday’s winner in Swindon, Sunday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me turn head to the Norwegian top flight, and there is one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals.

Bodø/Glimt will look to continue their push in regaining the Eliteserien title as they travel to Lerkendal to take on fallen Norwegian giants Rosenborg in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
Kjetil Knutsen’s visitors are the leading scorers in the Eliteserien, scoring 52 goals across their opening 20 league outings, with 29 (56%) of them coming on their travels. Glimt have remarkably found the back of the net on multiple occasions in 18/20 (90%) of their league matches this campaign – even striking three or more in 10 (50%) of them – and I’m backing them to bag another brace away at a Rosenborg defence that has shipped two or more goals in five of their previous nine Eliteserien fixtures at Lerkendal.
However, Rosenborg have scored 18 goals across their opening 11 Eliteserien fixtures
at their Lerkendal base this term, with nine of those coming in their previous three. The Trondheim-based club have found the back of the net in 9/11 (82%) of their league contests on home soil – striking on multiple occasions in each of their previous three – and they will be confident in breaching a Bodø defence that’s registered a solitary clean sheet across their last nine road trips, shipping multiple goals in five (56%) of them.

Over 2.5 Goals has landed in a league-high 15/20 (75%) of Bodø/Glimt’s Eliteserien fixtures this season – and given each of Rosenborg’s previous six on home soil have produced three or more goals – I’m more than happy to have a punt on there being another three in Trondheim on Sunday, with the high-scoring visitors scoring at least two of them.
