After kicking off their campaign with a routine win, Inter Milan will be targeting some early momentum as they travel to newly promoted Cagliari for a Monday night Serie A fixture. The Nerazzurri are looking confident early in the season and should ease past the host.
Cagliari marked their return to the Italian topflight with a 0-0 draw at Torino in their opening fixture. They set out to frustrate the Turin club and looked solid at the back, limiting their visitors to just two attempts on target.
Veteran manager Claudio Ranieri will be pleased with the defensive display which could determine how Cagliari approach certain games. However, the lack of cutting edge in attack could be a problem as they struggled to create much in Turin.

Following the departure of Edin Dzeko and with Joaquin Correa nearing a move to Marseille, much of Inter Milan’s attacking threat will be carried by Lautaro Martinez. The Argentine striker showed he was up to the task with a brace on the opening weekend and could be worth keeping an eye on at 6/5 with William Hill.
With Cagliari seemingly lightweight in attack, Inter Milan will be targeting a shutout on Monday. Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni have a solid partnership in the heart of the defence and could lead the Nerazzurri to another clean sheet at 23/20 with Coral.
