Euro 2024 Bet of the day

Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me head to the Korean top flight, and there’s one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals and cards.

⚽️ FC Seoul vs Daejeon Hana Citizen

?? K League 1

⏰ Saturday 1st July, 11:30

Two of the most entertaining sides in the Korean top flight meet at the Seoul World Cup Stadium as 3rd-placed Seoul plays host to 8th-placed Daejeon Hana Citizen, and I’ve come up with a bet builder featuring goals and cards.

Seoul are the second-highest scorers in K League 1 this term, scoring 32 goals across their opening 19 matches, with half of those coming at home. An Ik-soo’s hosts have found the back of the net in 18/19 (95%) of their league outings – scoring on multiple occasions in 10 (53%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Daejeon defence that’s registered a solitary clean sheet across their 10 road trips, conceding 19 goals.

Daejeon Hana Citizen are the third-highest scorers in the Korean top flight this campaign, scoring 30 goals across their opening 19 fixtures, with a league-high 19 of them coming on their travels. Lee Min-sung’s visitors have made the net bulge in 8/10 (80%) of their away league matches – scoring at least twice in seven (70%) of them – and will look to trouble a Seoul defence that’s registered just five clean sheets this term, with just two of those coming at home.

Bet of the Day

Both Teams to Score has banked in a league-best 8/10 (80%) of Daejeon’s K League fixtures on the road this season – and given both have obliged in 7/9 (78%) of Seoul’s league tussles in front of their supporters – I’m happy to have a punt on both of these sides to find the target tomorrow morning.

To increase the price, I’m happy to include two or more cards in the match. All 19 of Daejeon’s K League 1 fixtures this campaign have produced a minimum of two cards, whilst 16/19 (84%) of Seoul’s have seen at least two cards brandished.

  • Both Teams to Score & Over 1.5 Cards
  • Pays 20/23 (Bet Victor Bet Builder)

To be consistent is impossible given all the factors, bookies restrict bets or go to traders before excepting large bets, farce, so glad I don’t bet like I did before, literally saved thousands of pounds is an understatement, the most they get out of me is between £5/£10 a week?
