Wednesday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the Premier League fixtures, and there’s one fixture in particular that appeals to me for goals at both ends.

Two clubs at opposite ends of the Premier League table meet at the City Ground tomorrow evening as relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest welcome European-chasing Brighton in a match that appeals to me for goals at both ends.
Nottingham Forest have scored 26 goals in the Premier League this season, with 19 of those coming at home. Steve Cooper’s men have found the back of the net in 14/16 of their Premier League fixtures in front of their supporters – only failing to score against Man United (4th) and Spurs (5th) – and they’ll look to trouble a Brighton defence that’s recorded only two shutouts across their 15 Premier League assignments on the road.
Brighton have scored 54 goals in the Premier League this term, with only Arsenal (32) bettering their tally of 29 goals away from home. Roberto De Zerbi’s visitors have bagged in all bar one of their 15 Premier League contests on the road this term – scoring on multiple occasions in 10 (67%) of those – and should be more than capable of getting on the scoresheet against a Forest defence without a clean sheet in each of their last 11 in the league.

Both Teams to Score has banked in a league-high 12/15 (80%) of The Seagulls’ away fixtures in the English top-flight this campaign – and given the same has landed in nine of Forest’s last 14 at home – I’m happy to have a punt on both these sides getting on the scoresheet by the River Trent tomorrow evening.
