CELTIC haven't put foot wrong at Parkhead in domestic matches this season but won't take another victory for granted against a Livingston side they've found a hard nut to crack in recent seasons.
The Hoops have been remarkably consistent in Scottish football so far this term, with the only blips a 2-0 loss at St Mirren and a 2-2 derby draw against Rangers at Ibrox.
A 2-0 win at Dundee United restored their nine-point SPFL Premiership lead on Sunday in a game where another bet builder landed for our man Slips Tips.
Now Ange Postecoglou's men will be hoping to rack up another three points but Livingston again showed how resilient they are by battling to a 0-0 draw against in-form Hearts on Sunday.
Two bets landed for me in that clash as the Lions dug deep and David Martindale will also take heart from their last Parkhead visit just before Christmas.
It looked like the Hoops would ease towards victory after going 2-0 up but Nicky Devlin quickly pulled one back and that made Postecoglou's side sweat right until the final whistle.
Livi have been something of a bogey team for Celtic in recent years and if the champions take their eye of the ball it could be a difficult fixture for them.
How the bookies view it
Given Celtic's stunning home form, it's no surprise to see them as hot favourites at a best 1/9 with Ladbrokes. Livingston are as big as 28/1 with Coral while the draw pays 9/1 at SBK.
Recent head to head
It's now three wins in a row for Celtic in this fixture but Livingston caused them a lot of headaches before that. In the 12 matches prior to those victories, the Hoops only came out on top four times, with the Lions claiming two wins and all the other matches ending in draws.
Players to watch
Jota looked back to his best at Tannadice on Sunday, with the Portuguese winger scoring the opener to cap an impressive display. He's just 10/11 at Bet365 for another goal here but might be better odds for an assist once that market is priced up.
Celtic continue to look a bit vulnerable at set-plays and that is probably Livingston's best chance of grabbing a goal. Stopper Jack Fitzwater will go up for those set-pieces and he's 33/1 at SkyBet for anytime scorer.
Anything else catch the eye?
Livingston usually try a policy of containment against Celtic and Postecoglou's side will need to show patience. The rarely rack up heavy victories over Livi so under 3.5 goals looks decent here at 21/20 with BetVictor. That bet has landed in three of the last four meetings at Parkhead.
It ended 10-1 to the Hoops on the corner count when Livingston last came calling and that makes Celtic -7 in the corner handicap worth a look at 11/10 with Bet365.
Five yellows have been flashed in each of the last two meetings so that market is worth a look. Nicky Devlin appeals at 7/4 (Bet365) for a card as he should be up against the tricky Jota.
