Friday’s Football Bet of the Day sees me focus on the first of the four World Cup Quarter-Finals, and I’ve come up with a bet builder to get the Brazilians onside.

The World Cup quarter-finals get underway tomorrow afternoon at the Education City Stadium as five-time winners Brazil take on 2018 runners-up Croatia, and I’m backing the South Americans to seal their place in the semi-finals.
After finishing second in Group F behind surprise-package Morocco, Croatia were drawn to play a dangerous Japanese side in the round of 16. Deservedly trailing at halftime, Zlatko Dalić’s side equalised at the start of the second half to force extra time and penalties, where Croatia’s experience, in the end, saw them through.
After finishing top of Group G, tournament favourites Brazil put in arguably the performance of the tournament so far against South Korea. The Seleção broke the Asian sides' resistance after just seven minutes, and they banged in another three before halftime, before going on to eventually win 4-1.
Bet of the Day
All three of Brazil’s forward line were on target against Korea, and I reckon they can cause plenty of trouble for an ageing Croatia side that had to cope with a gruelling 120 minutes and extra time against Japan. Therefore, I’m happy to back Tite’s men to win in 90 minutes and score at least twice.
To complete the bet builder, I’m happy to add Croatia to collect a card. Brazil have already drawn eight yellow cards across their four World Cup matches, and with the likes of Neymar and Vinicius Jnr in their ranks, we should see the Balkan nation receive at least one card.
