WEST HAM are slowly but surely starting to get their season back on track and look more like the team of last term, ahead of their Europa Conference League return with Anderlecht.
David Moyes' side have now won three games in a row for the first time this season after a stuttering start to the campaign where they were even in the relegation places.
They beat Wolves and Fulham at home, with their derby success on Sunday coming after they went a goal down. And although these are teams they should be beating, they look like they are fully functioning again.
In between, the Hammers returned from Belgium with a 1-0 win over Anderlecht in the bag and they are top of the section in the Europa Conference League.
The Brussels club are in second place, but they've not had a great season. They are currently sit in ninth out of 18 places in the Jupiler League and their weekend win at Mechelen was only their second league win since the middle of August.
But they beat Silkeborg and drew with Steaua Bucharest in the group and are handily placed to go through.
How the bookies view it
West Ham United are strong favourites and can be backed at 9/20 with bet365.
The Belgians are 13/2 outsiders with Coral and the draw is 7/2 with Paddy Power.
Recent head to heads
The clubs have played just the once and a late goal from Gianluca Scamacca handed the Hammers the win in Brussels last week.
Players to watch
Gianluca Scamacca did the business for the Londoners last week with the only goal in Brussels and he's scored six so far this season, with four of these goals coming in European competition. The £30 million Italian striker is 31/20 to add to his goal haul with UniBet.
On loan Wolves striker Fabio Silva has already scored eight goals for Anderlecht this season and the Portuguese hitman is 18/5 with UniBet to score.
Anything else catch the eye?
West Ham are making steady progress and although this match won't be the highest of priorities for Moyes, with away games at Southampton and Liverpool coming up, they should be comfortably too strong for this Anderlecht side even if they do utilise their squad and rotate.
They've won every game in Europe so far this season and they will want to keep the momentum up. However, they have conceded in both of their home European games this term and they might do it again, so the 12/5 on offer from bet365 for both teams to score and a West Ham win appeals.
As pointed out, Scamacca has been the Hammers' European specialist this season and he can keep up his recent record with a goal here.
