THIS weekend's line has to start with Saturday's live TV showdown between Newcastle and West Brom.
In 11 league and cup games over the past five seasons both teams have scored in all of the meetings.
Look at the results since 2008 – 2-1, 2-3, 1-1, 2-2, 4-2, 3-1, 3-3, 2-3, 1-3, 2-1 and 1-1.
West Brom come into this on the back of two 2-2 draws while Newcastle have looked dangerous up front with Loic Remy in particular rattling them in.
Both teams to score pays 8-11 with the likes of Ladbrokes and bet365 while over 2.5 goals is 1-1 at Coral.
I'm visiting four countries for four selections and next it's north of the border for the Scottish Cup tie between League One rivals Ayr and Dunfermline.
Ayr's last three home games have made Coventry fans feel they're being cheated. They beat Stenny 4-3 last weekend, lost 6-3 to Stranraer before that and a third was 3-2 v Queen's Park – an average of seven goals a game.
They crashed 5-1 to Dunfermline in Fife when the sides met in September and the Pars haven't exactly been shot shy with 18 goals in six games.
This match has got as much chance of finishing 0-0 as Joey Essex has of being handed a degree in physics.
Over 2.5 goals pays a best 9-20 at Ladbrokes and over 3.5 could be risked at 41-40 at bet365. Both to score pays no bigger than 2-5 at betway.
Next it's a hop over to Spain and the clash between Espanyol and Real Sociedad. Historically this fixture sees goals with 13 in the last three playings – including two 2-2 draws.
Espanyol's last two games have featured nine goals while Sociedad, who conceded four to Shakhtar in the Champions League in midweek, have netted 15 in six games but conceded eight in their last two to Celta Vigo and Real Madrid. Take both teams to score in this one.
Finally, I'm on another side who drew a blank in the Champions League in midweek. Schalke were held 0-0 at Steaua Bucharest but when they play Stuttgart there are usually goals.
Both have scored in the last six meetings – a total of 22 goals – and five of Schalke's last six in the Bundesliga have gone over 2.5 goals.
Stuttgart aren't shy in front of the pokey either seven goals in their last three away games – but sadly they've conceded 14 goals in their last including six at Dortmund. Over 2.5 goals is the call here.

The Danish game between Vestjaelland and Midtjylland is my suggestion for Over 2.5 tonight.
A look at over 2.5 stats for these teams shows that the chances of this game going over are 50/50 as both sides have played 16 in the league with both having 8 over 2.5 matches and 8 under 2.5 matches.
I think there will be at least 2 goals in this match as all 7 of Vestsjaelland’s home games have gone over 1.5 goals, and all 7 of Midtjylland’s away games have gone over 1.5.
However, the home side have had 6 out of their last 7 go over 2.5 in all competitions, and the away side have 5 out of their last 7 do the same.
Assuming there will be at least 2 goals tonight I think the price of 9/10 for the 3rd goal to come is tempting and I will be taking a punt on it myself.
