Meanwhile, here is McBookie.com’s Damian Walker with his Saturday selections.
He writes: Ryan Conroy did this column a favour last week with a 7-1 first goal for Dundee and the Dark Blues face their biggest challenge of the season when they travel to play Championship leaders Hamilton this weekend.
The Accies are unbeaten at home having won five and drawn one of their six league fixtures this season. Hamilton have conceded just two goals at New Douglas Park and with visitors Dundee achieving 17 of their 24 points at home this is a good chance to find an Accies first scorer.
Former Livingston midfielder Anthony Andreu joined Hamilton in the summer after impressing as a trialist and was rewarded with a one-year contract. Since then the frenchman has scored four times in six league starts this season – including one at Cowdenbeath last week – and is 8-1 with McBookie to open the scoring.
Dundee Utd forward Dale Hilson deserves a place in the The Guinness Book of Records for being on loan longer than any other footballer. Hilson played just three times as a trainee for Dundee Utd in 2009 but since then has had four separate loan spells at Forfar without playing another game for the Arabs.
His current loan period looks like proving the most fruitful and the 20-year-old has scored five times in his last nine games for the Loons.
Forfar host East Fife on Saturday and the Fifers have failed to live up to pre-season hype and sit just three points off rock bottom side Airdrie. Hilson can be backed at 5-1 with McBookie to grab the opener.
SPFL League 2 is shaping up to be a cracker and all four top sides clash this weekend when East Stirling are at home to Clyde and Annan host Stirling.
Annan are 15-8 with McBookie to be top at 5pm on Saturday should they win and leaders East Stirling fail to do so.
The Galabankies have been a team McBookie have kept on their side this season and their strong-looking squad was further strengthened by Martin McNiff who joined after a handful of games on loan from Dumbarton.
The midfielder hasn’t had the most prolific scoring record but has grabbed two in his last five games for Annan and is 14-1 with McBookie to be the game’s first goalscorer.
Remember, McBookie.com are the only online bookmaker that allows you to bet on scorer markets in the Championship, League One and League Two.
